First of all, the OP is a troll – why bring up an article from 2011?

When I was in Tokyo a few weeks ago I spoke to 2 Singaporean Chinese women in GasPanic and they told me that they weren’t into Chinese guys. They said they’re too wimpy. One of them liked Korean men and the other one white guys. Over the years I’ve come across many Chinese women who talk crap about Chinese men. I can’t say I’ve ever come across any other race of women who is so negative about their own men.

I live in Los Angeles and most of the Korean guys here aren’t beta at all, but they love Korean girls. I have a Korean-American friend who told me himself he would only ever marry a Korean woman because he wants somebody to cook Korean food for him!

Has anybody here ever been to a Korean booking club? You buy a table and women are brought to you by the servers. The women are not pros, they are oridinary women who understand that being taken to a table full of guys is part of the deal.

I went to a place called Karnak in Los Angeles Koreatown a few years ago and it was pretty lame. A lot of the women were 30+. I saw only one other non-Korean guy in the whole club.

A lot of Korean guys are ballers - they always pay for the woman...all of the time. If you're with an American woman, after a few dates she might start paying for stuff. With Koreans, the men always pay. I know of Korean guy who took his gf to Vegas, and he paid for a few of her friends too.

I've banged a few Korean-American women from online, but I've never got anywhere with Korean FOBs.

I think what is being discussed are FOB Chinese men, right? Don't think there's anything wrong with Chinese American men. I've written about this before - FOB Chinese men for the most part only know beta provider game + oneitis on steroids. I've heard too many stories from friends and cousins. It's really sad. But it's also a product of the gender imbalance in China + the rising materialism. Lots of pressure from parents to make money + buy house + get married + have kids.

I'd say Vietnamese culture in the US is more redpill than Chinese culture. I live in Southern California and frequent Garden Grove/Little Saigon, which are 90%+ Vietnamese.

The economics of these cities is very interesting. It seems that on every block there are massage parlors run by an old Vietnamese guy, with a bunch of scantily clad young attractive Vietnamese women working there. Some of these women barely speak English and most of them give 'happy endings' more an extra fee. I have little doubt that the men are in charge, and are running fairly profitable operations. Lots of wealthy older white guys frequent these sorts of places.

The other most common Vietnamese establishments are nail salons and restaurants. Some of the cafes like Cafe Lu (discussed in the Asian 10 thread) charge a premium since they make their waitresses parade around in tight bikinis. Definitely using sex appeal of their women.

Chinese-American men in general are more educated (probably since the ones that can afford to move here in the first place are from better backgrounds, whereas the mass migration of Vietnamese to America during WWII consisted of all socioeconomic classes) and usually have some standard corporate job - thus less likely to run some sketchy harem and do sketchy side hustles. Call me ignorant but there's something about scrapping out a living in the streets that develops a certain brand of wisdom and alpha that a 9-5 job clocking in time for the man just doesn't deliver.

Maybe I'm just biased since I find Vietnamese women more attractive than Chinese women in general.

Yeah, South East Asians are more Alpha for sure, even despite being a little shorter.

When some of these North East Asian guys attempt to be more alpha, opting for a baseball hat and sports clothes or something else genericly "bro", it comes off as try hard; like it isn't them. They just need to internalize the whole Alpha thing better, and not over think it. It needs to come naturally with age. And of course they need to lift, relax, take their zinc, you know? But this is equally a mental thing. They need to quit trying to copy or emulate some white guy they think is an alpha male and do it for themselves. Alphas are leaders, never followers.

Remember, hormone production starts in the brain. If you think like an Alpha, you start to look like one, walk like one, and talk like one. So don't be another Asian conformist that tries to be a copy cat of white guy bros. I've seen so many Asians go down that path, uber lame.

As far as looks go... I look a lot more like the "Brother Sharp" character in my avatar, but with stronger facial hair and a thicker jaw. More naturally alpha. I have hard lines developing on my face too.

Viet guys are def tougher, or at least act tougher. I remember back in Toronto everybody would go to after-clubbing pho. Inevitably you would see packs of viet gangster/gangster wannabes with the same asian buzz cut and canada goose jackets looking like they were ready to kill someone. I'm sure some of it was a front, but these guys were notorious for actual fights inside the restaurant and throwing bottles of vodka at each other in the club. Also, almost every one of their girls were hot as shit. So hot I wanted to gouge my eyes out.

@ Thisistheone - There's a lot of 9-5 Vietnamese dudes (like pharmacists) who run their own businesses on the side too like the aforementioned nail salons, haha. A monotonous daily routine at the FT job doesn't necessarily have to mean a boring unproductive life outside of it. Lot of Viet dudes exemplify that.

Similar down under. Vietnamese dudes and SEA dudes in general way more alpha than Chinese. Most ABC dudes are pretty beta, better than the FOB's but still really beta. Most alpha Asian dudes I see here (and there are quite a few) either have a predominately white social circle, or they're a gym junkie or got the gangster vibe. The former mostly date white girls, the later two strongly prefer other Asians.

Interesting discussion. Glad to know there are more Asian-American players out here on the RVF!

Don't mean to brag but we are in our 30s and we've outlasted and out-gamed ALL of our Asian-American peers from college. Even the best looking ones who were "naturals" during undergrad gave up, got fat, and got married to 5s and 6s. Btw I'm not just running niche game and fucking only other asians. In the past half year I've fucked white girls like a 21yr old Romanian 8, and a 24yr NYC hipster 7.5. Got my Colombia and Spain flags years ago. Just got a brazilian model's number at whole foods earlier this evening.

That said, I don't worry much about my race anymore. Its all about my frame, weeding out the girls who aren't down for what I'm got, and maximizing my lifestyle (great career, lift weights hard, low body fat%, eats and cook well, always reading, traveling around the world, suiting up, keep logistics on lock). These things have very little to do with race.

When I stopped worrying about competing against white guys with more "advantages" a few years ago, while focusing on creating the best me, thats when my game opened up and poosy of all races flowed.

Stop worrying about race(and things like height), control what you can, and fucking bring it.

Not sure about the Viets being more alpha down here, but we're def way more aggressive than the Chinese. I think how we got here is a big factor which selects for that. Viets and other SEAs got to Australia mostly as refugees on leaky boats. That pretty much selected for risk-takers and the most aggressive from the countries of origin OR created them. The Chinese here either got here long ago during the Gold Rush (thus already settled down for many generations) or later on a nice comfy plane and are generally not the aggressive type. The more recent SEA immigrants from their UMC equivalent are just like the Chinese: very beta.

My distant cousins (branch of the family migrated there in the 50s) are well loved in France and Belgium.

This is something that has more to do with being first generation immigrants. Same thing could apply to Hispanic people say in the US. As my Spanish professor once said, recent immigrants from Mexico who come into Texas (where I live) tend to prioritize just getting married and then having kids after high school while the rest isn't that important.

The same is VERY true about 1st generation Vietnamese as my uncles & aunts were like that. I have an aunt/uncle that live vicariously through my dating life whereas the others are primarily "you should have wife & kids already." Hence..those Beta tendencies you mentioned.

But 2nd generation Viets here in DFW kill it with diff variations of pussy whereas the Koreans kind of stick to themselves wanting that perfect one & Chinese are aloof (I don't really see any Chinese in DFW).

Funny occurrences in last few weeks -
Asian Shopping Center - I see this random white chicks with fake knockers selling insurance & handing out her business card. Since she's next to some massage chairs, I ask if the chairs were a part of her insurance business too. She laughed, but ignored the flirting bc of the rock on her hand. Once I get her name...she gives me a business card with her first & Vietnamese last name (clue).

Computer lab - Trying to get this mid-term project done & initiate with a girl sitting next to me. Gives me the bitch shield, but then asks when the lab closes. One hour later...she comes back with her Viet bf who has this gangsta vibe & trucker hat.

I’m in Los Angeles and there’s a LOT of Asian guys who never venture outside their Asian bubble. I work with an ABC guy who was born and raised in Arcadia, which is east of LA and very heavily Chinese area – he said his school was 50% Chinese people, so his friends were all Chinese.

He then went to UC Irvine for college – he said his social circle was a bit more mixed - Korean, Japanese as well as Chinese! He’s married to a Chinese woman.

I did grad school in the US, and nearly all of the Asian guys stuck together there too.
