Talking about what is pretty or not with South Americans is quite pointless since their view tends to be skewed by their inferiority complex/colonial mentality and delusions.

I have to laugh when someone merely even thinks of knocking Colombia and everyone gets so upset.

Although I disagree with his opinion on Colombia its no less valid. When I was in Colombia I nearly broke my neck from all the times I had to swing my head around to see the hot girls. Although in saying that out of all the countries I went to in South America (Argentina, Bolivia, Peru, Colombia, Brazil) Argentina was by far and away my most successful hunting ground which seems to be against the common trend on here.

It's only fitting that this thread is active right when we are entering the first of the month. Although that Daygamer guy's tone was inappropriate when he was responding to me, I'm really not sure if he was a troll or not. Once I read that he was staying in hostels in Colombia, but living in an apartment with Argentine roommates in Argentina, his posts started to make more sense to me. Him having a better set-up in one country and therefore having better results in Argentina than in Colombia doesn't make Argentina easier.

It does seem like Colombia is a bit of a Holy Grail here based on my limited time and reading. Still, I have to raise the Colombian flag. I've been living down here for over three years and have a million complaints about it. The doctors are idiots. The food is generally bland or fried. There's too much incompetence and virtually no integrity or ethic of shared cultural responsibility. Colombians shamelessly cut in line, and aren't lines basically what separate humans from animals? But the women are God's gift to men- not only are they hot and shapely and sexy, but they act like they're all in competition with each other to be the hottest and sexiest. They may not be great ONS material but once you get them, they are yours and they are great novias/amiganovias, and one tip for new travelers- give a Colombian girl some time on top; most of them have swivel hips and will give you all 360 degrees.

This is my beef as Colombian : It's not about skin color for me, or for most of us. For example, we have the following names for American women :
- Mona/Gringa/Paliducha Desabrida
- Gringa sin Gracia
- Carne Cruda
- Gata empinada.

Now, my beef with Colombianas is that I do place quite some value on how her face looks and most of the faces are not extremely pleasant to look at. Would I say Colombian women are ugly? No. We have some of the most beautiful women on this planet. Is the average Colombian young women hot? It depends. Colombia is a huge mix, and you can't judge a whole country by a few people you meet passing by. From my whole time there, I'd say that in average (counting the whole city and regions and whatnot) they are a little on the ugly side, but the gems you can find makes the whole averages matter nothing and worth he whole plane ticket and even more. in colombia i ve met some really pretty girls

have in mind i lived in europe for ten years so i really do not find white caucasian women attractive

to me the white women has a bit of masculinity to her that i simply do not like…. i recall being in germany when i was in the army and noticing how they were all blonde with blue eyes but at the same time they're all sort of manly, with big broad shoulders, square chins

then we went to the netherlands (another paradise full of blondes or so they like to say) and fuck they're even uglier!!!! (too tall, too rough, culturally too obsessed with gender roles and feminism and all that crap, plus many are fat)

the UK (God its like going to walk mart in the middle of nebraska but with a posh accent)

and spain, italy (bleeeeh, nothing special, italian women are particularly PAINFULLY OVERRATED) and spaniards they all have that penelope cruz chihuahua face thing going on

the only place in western europe where i found beautiful decent girls was france (and that is because france is a colonial power so its filled with exotic mixes of all kinds, plenty of hot women)

eastern europe is better, but their bodies are often not that great (pancake butts, and age badly like most white women)

Wow, I've never met anyone who's been to Medellin who said the girls were ugly. I've been around a bit and they were definitely some of the best looking I've seen. We all have our own tastes I guess.

Regarding girls in Peru, Bolivia, and Chile. Colombia blows them away! It's not even close in my opinion. It would be like comparing a Ford to a Mercedes.

I agree with the OP. I've only seen a few attractive women so far in Medellin. I've been staying in Medellin with a Colombian buddy of mine who's from other part of Colombia. I've seen better in other parts of the world. He agrees with me too. Colombia is overrated and Medellin is one hyped up city. But Colombia girls are friendly and warm though. I like Medellin for its vibe, people and all the amenities it offers but women is not one of the reasons. Of course, you will see attractive women in an upperclass neighborhood such as El Pablado and at the mall anywhere in the world. The truth is all these hotties that gringos brag about are from those places or escorts. The average salary in Colombia is like $300/month, if you can hang out in those places, you got daddy money or another gringo sponsor to make yourself look good.
