2) Be supportive of her situation.

- Some "experts" say the incidence of BPD is only 2% and that the incidence is roughly 50/50 between men and women. (these are the feminist apologists that think there is a cure for these rejects).

- Other "experts" say the incidence of BPD is closer to 6%, and it is mostly women (like, 75-80%). These people will admit that men are more likely to be NPD (narcissistic), but that the NPD male is no match for the BPD female (with only sociopath being worse than BPD, and they can overlap). These experts will say the only way to deal with it is to RUN.

BPD 101 will also teach you that the BPD woman is not only often above average looking, but trend towards the "smoking hot" category. Sex and manipulation is their weapon.

I've had a theory for all of my life that poosy is not evenly distributed. That the majority of poosy actually gets spread among the top 10% of guys. (and until I stumbled across this site...I thought I had a novel idea! Looks like there is a whole community that believes the same thing, but I digress).

Back to the incidence of BPD and to tie my theory of why we may come across more BPDs then we think:
A) If you believe that the incidence of BPD is 6% of the population, and that this 6% is mostly women; AND
B) You believe that poosy is not evenly distributed and really gets lavished on the top 10% (probably like some of us here); AND
C) You believe that these SIRENS are almost always hotter than average (often BLAZING) and use sex and manipulation (and therefore have a higher frequency of sex themselves); and
D) The BPD is frantically looking for a HOST, and therefore increases the velocity of sex distribution
E) Those of us living this way increase the velocity of meeting (and fucking) new women...

When you take A+B+C+D+E and overlap them...Your incidence rate of running across a BPD is NOT the standard 6%. I mean look at point "B" alone! Point "B" for sure kicks up the chance of meeting a BPD big time. I have no clue what the actual number is...I just know that it will serve you well to learn how to spot BPD red flags. Because it could be the case that we come across them in 1 out of 10 or 1 out of 5 meetings...way too much!

Hmmm so it isn't necessarily chemical imbalance like bipolar. Then adding to A123's comments about how hot these chicks are. It seems hot chicks go through more damaging shit? Giovonny - I respectfully disagree with your points #1 and #2. No way that works (again, maybe with bi-polar which is often confused with borderline). I indeed fuck them...especially since you can't tell they are BPD beforehand.

A hallmark of the BPD is that they appear normal. They don't have any issues. If you said for a BPD to get professional help, she would convince you that YOU needed professional help. If they went to a counselor, the counselor would either fall under their spell or would say they don't want to try and treat them because they no there I no help. Th

Here is my favorite: you meet a chick and she stares right into your eyes and says something like "I feel like I know you so well, like we've been in love before, like...maybe we were in love in a past life...I know we just met and this sounds crazy, but I just feel like we were supposed to meet...".

When I hear this I just laugh in the back of my mind and get ready to bang her brains out and cum on her like Peter North. I keep her in the rotation and count the classic BPD red flags. There are 9 red flags to look for, and I give 3 for free. I give 4 if they are like the Russian. But, if they actually hit 4 red flags, then No Contact. 5 red flags and they are considered someone that could be clinically diagnosed with BPD. (but since they will NEVER get help or see anyone, they won't be diagnosed, EVER. We have to do this ourselves...)

Point of clarification:

- Just because they are hot, does not mean they are BPD. Plenty of hot chicks without BPD.
- BPD is rooted in abandonment. Something happened in early childhood that froze them in an emotional state of a 3 year old. This isn't something that is picked up later in life because of some bad experience in college.
- A BPD women IS more likely to be hot. Sexual attraction is their weapon. It is how they navigate life. If you learn about BPD and actually find yourself coming across one, it is my opinion that it would be rare for you to say "eh, she was a 5 or 6, no big loss". It is much more likely to be "Holy shit, this chick was the hottest yoga instructor with such an amazing boob job and fucked like a pornstar...giving her up was like giving up a drug!"

A. Play Captain Save-a-hoe, and attempt to help her by getting on that roller coaster. Odds are if you stay you are boned in the long run unless she gets major help which she won't want.
B. Politely leave. Break things off in the kindest way and depart with no hard feelings. Your best option, but she may stalk you or feign pregnancy.
Or if you want nuclear
C. GTFO. If you run now your conscience may eat at you, but you'll be safe. This is the option I would pick if I had no qualms about leaving her and I really had no other option. Prepare to get stalked and/or tracked down.

Walk away cold. Rip the band aid off quick. No phone calls, no texts, no in person betterment sessions. Hopefully she doesn't know where you live or work. I was in a LTR with a girl who was abused when she was 11. She was the best girlfriend I could have ever asked for and we dated years. As long as she isn't acting crazy or showing you signs she may be thinking of jabbing you with a ice pick I don't see why you would not talk to her anymore. Lots of people go through tough shit when they are kids and turn out ok. People seem to always lump girls into one category on here cause of on trait they have or one thing they have been through.

You're right, it's not a death sentence that she was abused. I'm living proof that people can change their situation if they have an opportunity to do so and take advantage of it. That said, most people stay stuck in their ways and I can tell from your OP that you see cracks in the dam. Wanted to give you guys a little update:

I went on a weekend trip with her and there it became quite obvious that she has some mental thing going on. We met up with some friends of hers and one of them just had had a fight with her father about some bullshit. Suddenly, my chick gets all moody and starts to basically ignore me for no apparent reason. I try to lighten up the mood, but she refuses to talk to me. Also, her friends (2 chicks and 1 IRT) behave strangely and the whole atmosphere is very weird. What makes it even more strange is the fact that we were going to a costume party and hence, everybody is dressed up (I'm Jesse Pinkman).
Anyhow, since we were going to a party, I proceed to get drunk. We go to the party and suddenly, my chick is acting normal again. The next day, I asked what had happened and she just said that she was crazy...

Long story short, after that incident, I started to see her less and less. Yesterday, I finally told her that things wouldn't work out between us and send her packing. She took it quite well, didnt start any drama and just left my apartment quietly.

She was extremely hot and some years ago, I probably would've tried to help her or some shit, but as a grown man, I don't need a fucked up chick in my life.
