I'm talking about the many, many stories one can find of HS teachers sleeping with their teenage boys. see /thread-33440.html as an example

Typically, we all talk about how we need the right kind of attitude, swagger, build/look, clothes, perceived status, influence etc "GAME" to get laid.

So, the question is, teenage boys in terms of money, real status and influence are on the bottom of the totem pole. So, is it the looks? From what I've read teenage boys can be just as physically alluring to women as teenage girls are to men... But I really wouldn't know.

Is it mental illness/fetish on the teacher's part?

Is it that these kids are super confident and mercilessly pursue their teacher?

I think it's because most modern-day women are what Jung referred to as "animus-possessed". They side with the undeveloped masculine part of themselves, find it attractive and project it out onto the young boy. I had read that more female teachers aren't having sex with students, it's just that reporting those cases results in massive Web hits, whereas reporting male teacher-female student sex interests no one. Web hits = advertising dollars for newspapers, so that could explain it.

Unfortunately, I can't find the source for this. I remember reading this around 2009. It might have been in Slate. If anyone can find the source, feel free to post the link.

As for why it goes on, I blame lack of formality. Years ago there was Adult World and Kid World and the twain never met. These days, parents are friends to their kids and that creates a type of culture other adults fall into. When everything is casual and there's no "Yes, so; no m'am," it's easy to forget age differences -- or deliberately overlook them, esp. when you're spending a lot of time with someone in an enclosed space...

Some decent theories here. It is probably all these and more.

It's not going to be just one thing or another. If it were, only one type of game would work on women.

My view is that validation coming from banging a student must enter into it somehow, given the way a lot of modern women seek validation via sex.

The true redpill reason for this phenomenon is that a woman is attracted to an "alpha" male (as much as that term has been beaten to death), no matter his age (old, like George Clooney or young, like one of these young kids), and will risk livelihood, relationship, and health to get mounted by one.

I think it's partly due to lack of fear of the consequences:

when a female teacher is in her 20s, she is not long out of university and is used to the college fuckfest mentality... in her hamster mind there probably isn't a lot of difference between getting a good dicking from a 19yo freshman to one of her younger students. If she's caught, she can say she was inexperienced, confused etc etc.. This one will probably move on and not have anything to do with the student again.

Once the 30s and 40s hit, it's "My husband doesn't love me and I have mental health problems and my student and I formed a special bond and I regret what happened yada yada yada." The reality is more than likely she just has a Peter Pan complex and doesn't want to grow up, and will end up fucking the student again once the court case etc is over (by which time he is more than likely no longer her student and well over the age of consent)

While I agree a good amount of alpha male students get the female teacher pussy, I don't think it's limited to them: part of the teacher's attraction may be about validation and control. I believe many teachers are more infantile then other people, therefore after finishing school themselves they choose to return to school (as teachers) over going out in the big world. (In females this could mean they still lust for childish displays of alpha like what students do).

The best teachers in my childhood were those who for whatever reason returned to teaching after having worked somewhere else and mastered another trade and had real life experiences outside of school. They did really teach some valuable stuff, while those who have spent their entire lives in school (became teachers straight after getting the diploma allowing them to to that) were just empty status obsessed fear mongers always telling how good grades would help you get further in life and what a failure you would be if you don't get good grades. If all it got them is this shitty job of a teacher (meaning a lifetime spent in a school) then thank you but NO!

Sadly such teachers are becoming extremely rare, because teaching has become such a shitty job, that anyone with smarts, ambitions or skills to have other options ... takes other options. Low pay, increasingly entitled attitudes and "rights"of children, increasingly limited rights of teachers make this job horrible. Also - today's teachers are doing more paperwork then actually teaching children and it is extremely soul crushing job here you take shit from everyone - from children, from parents, from the ever changing system of education, from ever increasing creditorial system... horrible job.

In america yes, In Canada its amazing job if you can handle the kids. $80k for 9 months work + pension and benefits. I could not handle the kids, or the other teachers.

I think in many of these cases, the teacher is still in her 20's, and not that much older than the boys they sleep with. These women are younger and more immature than the teachers of prior generations.
