So as a Chicago guy you are really saying the quality and friendliness of girls in SF is better?

I have a few weekends of experience gaming in Chicago (more day than night) and none in SF.

From forum wisdom it heavily weighs though that Chicago is a great game U.S. game city due to venues, friendliness of girls, logistics (easy cabbing around), and heavy drinking culture.

I am surprised you feel this way. Can you explain how Chicago girls are tougher? They were very friendly to me.

Edit: I just noticed you mentioned Asians and there aren't nearly as many in Chicago as on the west coast esp. SF... maybe they are exotic and different for you? Here on the west coast yeah there's millions of Asian 6.0 girls that are slim and submissive, but often times their faces, body curves, and personalities are unremarkable to many guys that have lived on the west coast long term.

Well i've lived in Asia for ~3 years by now so I don't think the exotic thing applies to me..

It just comes down to polarity. Masculine vs. feminine. Chicago chicks are friendly, some models, but their body language doesn't exactly scream "fuck me". Not only are SF women more submissive, but so are the men, who have all turned into techie betas so your competition is nil. So the moment a more masculine edge shows up on the scene the polarity is emphasized and girls will be on their knees.
I heard a handful of stories about how girls would move to SF and suddenly had more "chemistry" with older guy-friends after they visited so it's no coincidence. SF does something to these girls, simply more motivating to pursue - whether you think theyre hot or not is your own issue.

I don't know why this topic is filled with pictures of hippies. I rarely saw that anywhere even when I stayed in Haight. SF ain't exactly filled with models that's no secret, but anyone who says the pickup scene isn't a blast is probably too serious.

I'm renting a spacious condo with good logistics for 1K a month utilities included with a washer and dryer in the unit. It would go for 2-2.5x that amount in the Bay with no in house laundry or utilities thrown in. Gas is currently $3.15 a gallon. No state income tax or restrictive gun laws. The girls have much better attitudes and are hotter (disclaimer: I'm partial to latinas). No place is perfect, but Houston has been a good move.

Whats up. I wanted to know how is the job prospects in Houston? I thought about moving there since I haven't any luck here in my city. What kind of program you got accepted into? How are the people and the transportation?
