hey guys, im a newbie to this forum. i started reading stuff on this forum and i really like this site.

im going to be traveling abroad this summer in europe with my friend. i just wanted to know, how much is enough for 1 month of traveling in europe?

originally my budget was going to be 2000$ but now im pretty sure it will be over 2000$.

where do you guys get your appartments? craigslist??

are there websites you guys use to meet local travelers like this site or other sites?

I'm not the most qualified person to answer your questions. But I will say you should provide more information so the other guys can help you out better.

What countries specifically? Are flight costs included in your budget? Are you with your friend the whole time and sharing rooms? How often do you plan on going out, and how much do you spend the average night out? Are you going to be visiting several countries in this time or sticking to one? Are you staying in first tier cities or smaller, second and third tier ones?

The more information you provide the easier it will be to give you advice.

If you're traveling across multiple countries over the span of a month, getting an apartment might not be your best bet. Also, is your budget including airfare? If so, uh, have fun dumpster diving?

plan to go out 5-7 times per week. im not sure. i may share a room with my buddy. no flights are not included in the budget. i'll probably be visiting a few countries.

im going to eastern europe as well so i guess its like 2nd or 3rd world country.

Will be quite a bit more than $2,000, especially if you are moving from city to city, rather than staying put. I think people like Roosh get by on around that much per month, but he's been traveling for years, knows the tricks, and seems to stay in one place for a few months at a time.

If you're spending a lot of time in Western Europe hopping around camping in a small hiking style tent will be your best bet. A lot of campsites in Europe charge per person, per vehicle and per sq metre your tent takes up. Some big cities actually have cool campsites on the outskirts, but within walking distance of public transport. No, not the best "logistics" for gaming, but your costs will be a fraction of what you'd pay to rent a room/apartment, and also a bit less than a hostel bunk bed, in the centre of that city. And look, travelling chicks - hot or not - do not have any more money than a guy their own age, so unless they have a "Daddy" they are in the same boat, and only slightly less likely to be choosing the same budget places.
