Did you go to Hangout? I had several friends (females) who went. They were drugged up the whole time and messed around with a few random strangers. it caused A LOT of drama back home within their social circle and bfs. haha

Anybody go to this? Do the bars fill up with molly-ed up raver girls after the show?

I am not a "festival go-er" but have an opportunity to go this year.

I have gone to this multiple times as I am from Alabama. It is great if you are in your 20's but the hotels on the strip fill up so book it fast. I met a ton of girls there.

I never went because I didn't end up working in New Orleans. I heard it was fun though, especially for a traveling guy.

The new line-up below. I feel a bit too old for this scene, but I really do like some of the bands. Wish I'd done more stuff like this in my 20s.



There's also Bonnaroo in Tennessee. At this point it may be a better music fest than Coachella.



You can also apply for a volunteer position at these fests. Might be a good way of seeing the music and mingling without the huge ticket price.
