The world is changing. We can't live in a vacuum, and even Roosh has said it's just a matter of time until the Poosy paradise hold-outs become westernized.

Instead of trying to hold on to the past, maybe we should all be working towards a future that doesn't include letting our women get the best of us.

Yes, they are attention whores, look how they escalated their offences until they finally got a response with the church stunt.

That was the result of the authorities not cracking down on them when they pushed the boundaries.

Now they can't even set up to get a protest started before someone wades in and ends it.

Thing is, the members of Pussy Riot are members of the art group Voina, who have done some interesting and funny (albeit kinda juvenile) stuff like filming themselves trying to french kiss female cops and painting a giant phallus on a bridge.





It would have been good if Voina would have used the Sochi olympics to actually express something significant or just plain cheeky or funny, rather than just have the gals just donn their masks and do their wack dance which inevitably ends up being shutdown by the authorities. Pretty boring really.

I'm not supportive of cossacks with horsewhips ending the filming of their video clip, but this sort of thing can be expected in Russia.

I think there is something quite honest, vital and direct when some cossacks come in and hit you with a horsewhip. I suppose in some way its better than some fat over-paid cop who casually pepper sprays you.

The effect is the same and the cause is the same, the authorities don't want you in that place making your protest. It happens all over the world. At least the Russians are straight up about it and get to the point quickly.
