"That’s when I came to the hardest and most logical conclusion of my life: it’s me. And not in the “I’m not pretty enough, I need to lose 10lbs” way. That is all bullshit. I unknowingly bring so much drama, baggage, and expectations to the table that it has damaged every relationship I’ve ever had. Friendships too. I don’t know how to be vulnerable or affectionate, I hide behind walls (and computers), and I’m incredibly selfish and demanding. I do not know how to give or receive lovingly—intimacy makes me uncomfortable. I pretend not to care to prevent getting hurt. Why am I surprised nothing has ever worked out? There is so much home improvement I need to do on myself before I can attract, and deserve, the kind of adult, committed, healthy relationship that I want. I’m not ready.
So maybe I will never be anyone’s Shorty. And part of me has become okay with that. And part of me hopes that once you stop wanting love, that’s when it comes."

I hate all that transformational shit. Let me qualify, I think if you truly apply that stuff sure it could work, abundance etc are all part of it. I know a couple of folks truly practicing this stuff.
But in LA this type of talk is just to substitute for other words, like, "I am an actor." Go to Agape in LA and see how everyone agrees with what is being said, and they dress all colorfully (spiritually in their minds) and then get in the parking lot and act like complete assholes and bitches.
Just superficial talk.
A person truly walking that journey would probably spend less time talking about it and more time practicing it and really looking at how fucked up they are.
It's like she attended a Marianne Williamson seminar.
Fate whispers to the warrior, "You cannot withstand the storm." And the warrior whispers back, "I am the storm."

Jesus fucking Christ, it never occurred to her that maybe he was soft because HE WAS NERVOUS because he REALLY LIKES HER and therefore is feeling a lot of pressure to perform? It never occurred to her that that boy she really "likes" is probably embarrassed to death and could have used a nurturing, comforting woman to tell him, "It's ok."
That no point is that dude a person to her. At no point does she go, "Hmm, I wonder what he was feeling, and why."
God what an awful person.
