I'm over 40 and ALL that money is going in my pocket, not being purloined by the mendaciousness of some "equitable distribution" state divorce law.

That is a big moment for a man... when you finally get past the sour grapes stage and come to realize the delicious irony that by cutting you loose, she actually did you a huge favor.

That the greatest gift you had ever given her was to put on the wife googles. And that the greatest gift she ever gave you was to make you take them off again.

If one is considering marriage she must:

1) not have been raised in the US.

2) should not own a tv (or at least never watch Sex in the City or Real Housewives type shows)

3) She should be willing to service her man even when she's not in the mood.

4) Preferably be religious.

5) Have a social circle where divorce is frowned upon.

This is just a short list, too. If any of the above and more aren't met, don't marry the chick.

I don't disagree with any of the items on your list. However, when I read it, I do tend to read:

When considering finding a lepruachan, he must have:

1) His own pot of gold
2) His own purple unicorn that farts skittles
3) A posse of no less than 15 faeries, elves, gnomes, trolls, sprites and other woodland creatures
4) A sister with all-natural 35 DD's

I just don't think its very likely most of us will ever find a woman like the one you describe, and that's fine with me: No need for a guy with game to get married!

Funny. Pretty impossible to find in the United States. But pretty common in a lot of countries, actually.

"Equality may perhaps be a right, but no power on earth can ever turn it into a fact."

"Want him to be more of a man? Try being more of a woman!"

"It is easier to be a lover than a husband, for the same reason that it is more difficult to be witty every day, than to say bright things from time to time."

My girlfriend and soon-to-be fiancee qualifies in all five. It certainly helps that I'm Russian, so I have a rapport with Slavic church girls who have only been here a few years. I understand this would be a lot harder for an American guy. America's on the fast track to hell in a hand basket. So yes, if any American guy (with no connection to immigrant girls from Latin America or Eastern Europe) wants to get hitched, his best bet is to leave this immoral shithole.

If he cheated, he would lose even worse in the divorce. The bitch wanted him to cheat, so it would be easier for her to play the victim.

RE: "My Husband's Sex Addiction Drove Me To Divorce Him"
Here is a very good article on the bullshit known as "sex addiction." It points that the model of "sex addiction" was copied from the model first promoted by Alcoholics Anonymous.

http://www.martyklein.com/why-sexual-add...t-matters/

"...The sexual addiction model of human sexuality is moralistic, arbitrary, misinformed, and narrow. Excluded from this model are using sex to feel good; having “bad” fantasies; and enjoying sex without being in love. Where is the theoretical justification for this moralistic position?..."

"...There are two groups of people behind this:

a) Addictionologists, often in recovery themselves (i.e., they have unresolved sexual and impulse control issues). They typically have little or not training in sexuality; and

b) 12-steppers themselves, lay people who love being in recovery. Their missionary zeal has nothing to do with science or clinical expertise. They freely generalize their own experience with sexual problems and “recovery” to all people and to human sexuality.

Both groups of people are now being quoted–and are actively portraying themselves–as sex experts...."

Checked out a Sex Anonymous meeting once.

Was full of gays and freakshows that like shitting on one another.

Didn't go back.
