I guess that I have a reasonably good appearance but It's not like my appearance alone gives me any free rides. When day gaming I find it easier to game 7s and up with maybe an 8 being the easiest when it comes to just getting the number. When I thought this is going to be dead easy trying to game a 6 or a 5 (I was bored) they either don't take it seriously or just enjoy the attention but are reluctive to give out any number.

Anyone else with similar experience?

Yeah, i notice the same thing too. Maybe they have more exposure to male attention, and know how to respond properly if they're feeling the guy.

A lot of it relates to their attainability.

Most men don't regard themselves highly enough to ever approach the better looking girls. When a beta man (which is most of society) is faced with an extremely attractive woman, he feels threatened and insecure. It is much "easier" to go the route of asking out an "average" looking woman, because she SHOULD be easier to game. This in theory would be true, because less attractive = less options, right? Not entirely. The mid-range group most definitely gets the most attention, and thus either see themselves as worth more than they are, or takes the flirtation less seriously. The more average they are, the easier they should be = more approaches vs above average girls.

Many sub-7s are skeptical that any man would approach them. 7's and above know the score. Many 8s and above seem to enjoy the attention and are comfortable with guys approaching them. I'm usually met with a really nice attitude with the 8+'s, but they are usually taken. They seem to have better social skills too - honed by receiving a lot of attention and by confidence in what they have I suppose.

Game hot girls, ignore the average ones. You shouldn't ever have to worry about this. I gave this girl my phone to put in her number the other day, she did it, now she's being weird, because she knows she's not good enough. Nothing pisses off some 5s and 6s more than being gamed by a 7 or 8 guy. They think it's condescending, and they'll even use that term. It's funny, because this comes from the same culture that produces so many 49ers (the girls who are 4s, but think they're 9s).

I'm not against gaming a 6 or even a 5 for some therapeutic ass (like when you're breaking out of a long cold spell) but that should only be done if necessary. Try to stick to gaming women who are attractive. It's better for the dating market, and why would you put up with a bunch of bullshit for a 6? I learned my own lesson again this week, and I'll keep on learning it until I actually learn it.

Beginner, I haven't been to the place you describe wherever that is, thankfully.

Once or twice I might have got the reply "no thank you" when approaching or "definately not" when making a long shot suggestion but that's pretty much my experience. I really don't regard "no thank you" as really bitchy, just a tad rude, as it actually saves the both of you time. This is for lookers.

Not in my experience. Granted it is a limited experience but whenever I am out or even online the average girls are much easier to game and usually respond better than the hot ones. The hot ones wont even give me the time of day or straight out ignore. So sometimes you just gotta go with what you can get or you will be left with nothing at all.

Easier to game girls you are attracted to which is probably why you get a better response. Average girls have more to lose by sleeping around since their main form of attack on pretty girls is calling them sluts. They are also more insecure and more interested in snagging a "trophy boyfriend."

Czar, yeah, I guess that the sincerity of someone's interest shows. If average girls want "trophy boyfriends" those girls should be more receptive to game though. It's not logical, I know... Or, they sense that you don't want to commit with them more than for hours.

ryanf, sometimes you just make the mistake of trying to game an average girl thinking that she might actually be that easy girl or that the average girl is that rude girl ruining your time with her more attractive friends.

I understand on some level. Every once in awhile, when I'm feeling particularly asshole-ish, I'll go hard after an average girl and do some really rough shit in bed with her. Problem is, they end up really liking it.

Being bitchy and being attainable are two different things. Sometimes average girls are complete bitches, but still give up the drawers.

Hot women don't need to be bitchy. They can just politely ignore you.

That's an interesting theory. I think the reason some of them might be harder to get though is not because of attention, but rather because they have too high confidence compared to their looks. They're 5-6 behaving like 8-9. So as a man, you can't put up with their shitty attitude because they don't back it up with actual looks and it comes off as arrogance. So you just don't put the effort into them, you're not motivated.

Also note that the Dunning-Kruger effect is often in play for mediocre people. Average girls actually believe they are 9's while an 8 believes she is a 5 because she's around 10's all the time.

There's also the factor that average girls sometimes derive a lot more gratification out of rejecting an approach than from being open to it. If a chick isn't approached very often, there's a chance she'll want to play the "I'm too good for you" act no matter what you do.

I think the thirsty/beta guys on fb/ig are to blame for this.

I swear, a girl could post a blurry pic of her fat toe on fb/ig and still get a ton of likes and comments from thirsty-toe-loving-mfers talking about how cute they are.

Obviously an exaggeration but you see it daily on fb/ig. Ugly ass chicks getting 300 likes.

It might be a blessing though, it makes you go for better looking chicks who are usually more receptive. Not only elevating your game but also forcing you to approach them and become more attractive to those type of chicks.

I've been in Japan for just over 3 years now, so I haven't experienced this phenomenon of average girls thinking they're hot shit. Is it really that bad? I've gone back a handful of times and seemed to do well enough...

I like, and also agree with this theory.

I'm not too bad looking - I often get eye contact with girls, but it is my confidence to commit to talking, that lets me down.

In the past times that I have approached girls, I have had far more success with what I deem to be 8's/9's, than 5-7's. I think this is simply because those types of girl actually probably have far less number of guys approaching (due to fear of rejection) than the 5-7's.

Saying that, in the UK, a lot of 8-9's (from a distance) actually turn out to be 6-7's anyway when you wash off the makeup and take out the hair extensions. Have given the "omg my ex girlfriend just walked past" excuse, a couple of times because of this issue.

<7 are much, much harder I think for 3 reasons;

1. They don't believe you're interested in them because they've been discarded by a number of guys before you (because they aren't that hot). In other words, they have massive self worth issues.
2. The hotter girls don't get approached very often so are more open to it. Here's where all the hard work you've been putting into learn game comes in. These beautiful girls will actually give you a window to game them. It's up to you to step through it.
3. The less attractive girls do not engage your full attention, thus you're aren't bringing your full skill set. A really hot girl will make you call on your super powers.
