She does not wear makeup and they live in Hawaii off the grind and do everything natural. If she wore makeup she would be at least a 5 or 6 for her age I suppose. I see sun damage, but considering their lifestyle I doubt she would buy chemical skin cream to clear that up.

If they are off the grid, he has a whole other set of priorities. Can she chop wood, can and pickle things, cook, handle a shotgun, grow stuff, find medicinal plants, understand basic emergency medicine, cope with a bunch of 19th century technology, mend things, amuse herself and her children, start a fire?

You get the idea. When you have practical shit to do, grody skin is not a deal breaker.

This is a fascinating topic for me - I dated numerous hot women in my teens, 20s, and early thirties, yet I never developed a deep mental/spiritual connection with any of them. In fact, the hotter they were, the more annoying, entitled, and selfish they tended to be.

When I was 35, I bumped into a girl at work I knew briefly from college. She was the friend of a ex-girlfriend ( a very cute girl I dated for 4 years, but for whom I grew to really dislike, and vice versa), and although this woman was very average at best ( some would say ugly), we hit it off like no other woman I had ever met. She was just so amazing and funny and warm and kind and interesting and cool to be around, I fell in love right away. The more I got to know her, the better looking she became in my eyes. I never had any idea a relationship could be so amazing and unforced. We never fought, and we became best friends very quickly. She adored and idolized me, and I was at the top of my field - I was one of the best in the world back then at what I do) This woman had all the qualities I had ever thought I wanted in a mate, and she was, at a physical level, at least attractive enough for me to have sex with. I love pear/hourglass shaped brunettes (Italian, Jewish, Spanish, Greek etc). So there was at least some pure attraction on my part. Nothing compared to most other women I had dated, but it somehow just didn't matter to me then.

Anyway, we dated for 5 years and then got married. At 40, the math just didn't make any sense from a risk to reward, cost analysis basis to ruin an awesome relationship for greener grass somewhere else.

Fast forward to 15 years later. I became very ill with cancer and hard a tough recovery for years and years, and she walked out of the marriage for another man and a new life. I won't go into all the bloody and depressing details, but suffice it to say she's a horrible, selfish person with emotional problems and a fucked up family to boot. That's when I became red pilled, and learned some cold hard truths about female nature. NAWALTS, unicorns, hypergamy etc.. you name it. Clearly, even ugly women are victims to their hypergamous and solipsistic nature. My best friend and lover of 15 years walked out on me when I needed her the most. I never really knew her at all. But female nature and such is a whole another topic.

So aside from how it ended many years later, my main point is that I don't find it surprising at all to see occasional examples of good looking, high status men dating "down" regarding looks. I was never rich, but I was very high status in my field, especially compared to her. I would have certainly settle down with some of the really hot women I dated, but there was no special connection. I was just never even remotely motivated to want to settle down with them. 2 of them begged me to marry them. But I just knew in my heart that I didn't find those previous relationships worth getting married for. Fucking a hot girl who bores and nags you will not sustain a long term relationship if you have any degree of maturity and life experience. It's fine if you are 20 and just having fun, not if you are 35+. A woman needs much more than firm tits IMO. So when you meet a certain person who just meets all those emotions and mental needs, they don't always come in the package of a super model. In fact, statistically, they almost never ever do.

Who fucking cares anyway what another guy's mate looks like? If that person makes them happy (for the time being), that's all that matters. To me that's the ultimate, evolved alpha trait - to truly know yourself, and do what you think is best for your own happiness, regardless of how society will judge you.

I look back at my younger years, and think about how many possibly great relationships I let slip though my fingers because the girl wasn't hot enough in my friend's opinions ( "The guys would give me so much shit" etc ) High school peer pressure type bullshit at its silliest. Even though I was fucked over by an average looking spouse, that still would not change my opinion on the topic of dating for the overall package, not just beauty.

Absolutely. Most of the smart billionaires have caught on to this, though. Jeff Bezos went for the shaved head/TRT look, and honestly looks great IMO. It surprises me that men don't treat aging in the same way these guys do. If you're still running game in your 40s, but have looksmaxxed and gained muscle via testosterone, you could easily lower the age of your bangs substantially.
