This thread has got me thinking a bit. What do you theorize is the reason men with vast options choose women who are far less attractive than they could land given their own status and/or looks? Barring any irregular circumstances of course (high school sweethearts who stayed together before fame and the girl aged poorly while the man aged well, guy knocked up girl and stayed for kids, guy is gay and has a "wife"/"girlfriend" as cover, etc.)

My theory is that fame and fortune does not automatically mean traditional/redpill. It also doesn't automatically mean you have lots of quality women to choose from. A man with tons of options may still be convinced that a woman has a lot more to offer him than just her beauty, youth, and submission. I also personally think this has some truth to it...

Think about how many gold digging whores probably throw themselves at the chance to be with attractive and high-status men. Much like any decent looking girl on online dating or social media; their shit is a constant flood of offers. If a man wants any kind of halfway decent relationship, he would be hard pressed to field these sloots for the ones that were really worth his time and wouldn't look to rape him of his assets, potential children, and reputation. Here's my theory: as others have mentioned, looks aren't the only consideration when wifing up. For someone you're going to be spending that much time with and raising a family in partnership with, personality and chemistry are just as important (maybe more). When they have the need to bang top notch snatch, they have no trouble tracking it down and have the means to keep it discrete, if need be, or-- since they're so high status-- their mid-tier wives probably don't give them shit for it even if it's not a secret (see Wayne Rooney above).

They also don't need the validation from being seen with a hot chick because they're in the top 1% of what they do and are world-wide famous.

What it doesn't explain is why they don't care that their kids won't be passed on elite genes.
