I wonder if Roosh will accept $6.47 as payment for a gold membership, since I don't have $7.00 in my PayPal account. I want to change my username but haven't decided what to yet.

I really should change mine as my current handle is my actual, used in everyday conversation, nickname.

I'm going to make a serious point here.

As this thread makes clear, the Mech/McQueen beef, if there is one, is really just an extension of the Mech/G beef.

And I think the Mech/G beef is the consequence of an extremely rare misjudgment by the great el mechanico.

Mech is as sharp a guy with as a good a bullshit detector as I've ever seen. I don't need to know him personally to know that this is true.

But I believe he misjudged G early on. I think G is a very unusual character and is exactly the kind of player that he says he is.

But Mech never bought it -- he trusted his gut, which is right 99% of the time. But like I said, G is a very unusual dude and an easy dude to misjudge. And this is the root cause of everything.

I hope this changes over time but these are all very proud guys so who knows.

I know these are taboo things to say, but sometimes it's good to break the taboo.

MSW2007 has to change his handle. He's too funny to have some weird military nomenclature as his name.

I think there is actual beef between Mech and McQueen.

If anybody is feeling generous enough to spot me a gold membership, I'll snail mail you a USPS money order for $25.00 anywhere in the U.S.

I was gonna get a MoneyPak card to add funds to my PayPal account but they want to charge a $4.95 service fee + $4.95 monthly.

You don't need to add money to your paypal account.

A gift card should work. Pay like using a credit card.

I must have been drunk on chat the other night. I didn't even stop to think that Roosh might accept anything other than PayPal, hence why I asked if PayPal was compatible with prepaid cards. I feel like a dumbass now realizing that we were on two different pages entirely.

Carry on.

Yes, you can pay via paypal with a card, without adding money to your account or connecting a bank account. You don't even need a paypal account to pay via paypal.

Am I being trolled???? lolz

Lol, not at all. I'm so used to doing everything with cash that I'm almost completely illiterate when it comes to buying shit online, paying with a credit or debit card, etc.

The bitcoin option inspired me to finally buy some damn bitcoins.

With all the hype around the new currency, it's taking them a long time to approve new accounts.

Basil, I wish you'd go back to the Reeve avatar. It captured the essence of your posts so perfectly.

I changed my avatar when I purchased a fresh basil plant. I had great aspirations of a life replete with fresh basil, but my basil plant did not share these aspirations, and promptly died. Plus it also tasted strongly of cloves, so the mourning period was pleasantly brief.

Christopher Reeves, in his playing of Basil Ransom, looked terrific, but he lacked the easy, cheeky charm that the literary character so clearly had. And Verena Tarrant in the movie, the girl he pursues, was ugly and androgynous. Rhett Butler in the 'you need kissing badly' scene of Gone With The Wind is more like how I imagined him.
