Ties in with what I've been observing in the culture. To play devil's advocate a little, what we see as effeminate, weak, etc., actually seems to be working for a lot of men as a sexual strategy. Just as there has been a tipping point for fatness where it just doesn't have as much of a stigma as it used to, it's now perfectly acceptable to be a chip-munked cheeked pajama boy who says the right things, e.g. can make ironic references to the latest episode of Girls, rolls his eyes at those against gay marriage, etc. They get laid. They get girlfriends.

There may well be a tipping point where the old-school throwback masculinity just doesn't succeed as well as a means of getting women. I believe this is the case in Japan, and maybe in Scandinavia. Roosh talked about it in his writings about Denmark. Being more masculine than everyone else doesn't get you the hottest women there. Playing the androgynous dandy role better than everyone else does.

There will always be different niches. If you work out in Japan and are buff and take no shit, you will get laid, but so will the sapling-thin dude with a stack of fashion magazines and his hairdresser on speed dial. That's actually a larger niche than being buff in that country.

Maybe that's where we are heading. Tone down your big, loud voice fellas.

I didn't quite put my finger on it till recently. I made friends with a guy at the new bar I go to, who has a very effeminate voice and mannerism, and all the girls flock to him. It worked out sometimes cause we would work off each other, him acting like them, me being a guy. He would get a few to hang and I would work the girls eyeing our group.

It was like stacking the deck, have some convo with some girls to make other girls notice our fun, all cause this guy acts like them.

To be honest though, its a little tough to put up with at times dealing with guys like that. But all in moderation.

Hot babes (8s and above) don't go for feminist bullshit because instinctively they are aware that feminism drops their value to the basement level. It's just like eating junk food because you're hungry and it seems to satisfy your appetite.

Again, great point. Masculinity is in fashion - as long as it's expressed ironically. It's subtle denigration. It allows girls to feed their built in psychological need for masculinity while continuing to hold the idea that men and women are equal and even interchangeable. What's really ironic? That the people who most fervently subscribe to the feminist revisionist bullshit buy fully into atheist ideas, most importantly evolution. Christian nailed it for the most part. Is attraction for masculine men going anywhere? Doubtful. Trends come every decade, biology changes every million years or so.

Also, do you consider yourself a masculine man? If so, why are you that way? Is it just to get laid? Men shouldn't be masculine just so that they can get laid, but because that is who they are. By fulfilling our primal nature (i.e. being manly) I think it brings us more fulfillment in life. That in turn will account for a lot more pussy then simply pretending to be effeminate to get laid.

The last thing that sexless men need is to be MORE effeminate. Sure, being overly masculine some countries may hurt your odds at getting laid, but encouraging men to act like pussies just to get pussy is dangerous thinking.

Could it just be that there are so many effeminate men out there that women are running out of options, especially the women who are masculine in nature? I think that is very likely.

There is balance in everything.

You emphasize masculine, but if you are hyper-masculine already it doesn't hurt to dandy it up a bit with your accessories, e.g. nice watch, some flash, maybe a hint of a feminine color here and there.

Obviously you don't speak in effeminate voice, that is ludicrous, but you can make small touches that show you have a bit of an artistic soul, and you're not a total automaton. It triggers hypergamy, and shows you're not a plebian.
