Yeah, though I tend to think of the "avoidance weasel" as the excuses and rationalizations your brain makes to not approach, while in this case my brain was simply not working fast enough and just too absorbed with itself to become aware of the opportunity.

I get lots of eye contact, from girls half my age, in public places, surrounded by other middle-aged persons.
I've got others bedroom-eye ogling me in my exercise shorts or swimsuit , but when I look them in the eye, they look away...

I do various types of daygame approaches. Sometimes I see a girl and chase her up and approach by walking side by side and stopping her after a while, sometimes I do head on stop approaches (my least favorite) I even tried a yad stop or whatever it is called it is when you chase the girl up run in front of her making her stop. This also works although you have to have a very strong and positive frame to do it with success.

Rate of success after you had an IOI (eye contact is an example, another can be double look your way) is much higher. I had few very good examples when I walk pass the girl, get an IOI turn around chase her up and chat. Very good results. When I was in St. Petersburg this was how I ran my daygame, walk along Nevskiy at a busy time and look around, get an IOI turn around, run up and chat. Kind of like fishing. Waiting for a signal and acting upon it. I consider myself above average in looks department which might have something to do with it. If not looks you have to compensate with style or something that will distinguish you from the crowd.

You have to be flexible and adjust depending on where you are. Not only different styles of daygame approaches but different styles of game and sources of leads altogether. I would say in EE day game is king in SEA Online game, my experience in US is limited but judging by the information I collected on this forum night game is for US. I am yet to find out what is the case with SA.

Has anybody noticed the phenomenon of some days being good EC days and some days being lacklustre? It's not always conditional on how good you look on that day, or how good you think you look. There are some days I've made a quick sprint to the store and have received EC left and right. Some days I'm actively looking for it as a pre-approach invitation and I'm getting none.

I know I'm not breaking any new ground here, but when you're out with a chick, the level of eye-fucking is off the charts. Experienced this today. Pre-selection, of course. Evolutionary psychology really is quite something.

Sometimes I have approached women who've given me crazy eye contact but immediately looked turned off when you approach. Some had boyfriends/kids a few metres away which is crazy if you think of it logically. I think sometimes it could be curiousity in your 'look'.

Women can be hard to read sometimes. If there's a girl you like just go for it and don't over think it.
