Which one is the best in Jan-Feb? As far as nightlife, single travelers, etc.
I understand all of the islands can be somewhat sleepy. Even in the high season...

yeah would be great to get some more info on these places

ideal to visit when it gets cold in europe, like now; not far away and there are budget flights with easyjet and ryanair i believe

Yes like you said it's cheap to get there. These are good spots for windsurf or kite-surf but not especially for the nightlife.
If you want to see more people try to go when there it's holiday in Spain for example right now. Another important week is Holy week (semana santa), in 2011 it will start the 18th of April I think. So this is the best time to catch spanish girls.

On each island you have like a big city then some touristic complex (hotels) and some smaller cities.

If you are looking for nightlife, better go to Tarifa for example. But to spend some days relax it's a good place to go.

Very curious about the Canary Islands.

Tenerife, any info you can give us?
