Couple of quick ones gentlemen:

I remember reading about a good quality tailor in Sukhumvit in this thread a while ago. Anyone happen to know the name? Buying tailored clothes randomly isn't something I want to do with every second man in Bangkok calling themselves a tailor.

Also looking for a decent place to get a hair cut? Preferably with good English so they don't mess it up like the last one.

@Adrenaline: Rajawongse is pretty well known, but can be hit or miss with quality(google it). Pinky's might be good as well. I've never used Tailors on Ten but I think you'd get the best bang for your buck there. Those guys have good service, I chatted with them over email and dropped in the store.

Protip: to get the best value for your money, you'd have to source the fabric yourself and take the fabric to a shop that does the actual cutting and stitching. You'd have to speak Thai and/or bring along someone that does. A few expats have gotten full suits quality made pure wool(because they were in control of the process) for 10K<baht.

I second the suggestion for Tailor on Ten. It's not the cheapest, but it's good quality and it lasts longer then other tailors. I just got back from Bangkok last week and had two shirts made. Before that I was there in July for 2 pants and 5 shirts. Excellent quality. I work in Asia so I prefer a light fabric, the one they recommend is 2500 baht per shirt. Not cheap, but I guess it's worth it. Some cool options to customize parts of the shirt too.

Word of advice, this supposedly is their busy period. The one thing I do not like is that they sometimes say (after you've come in on an appointment) that they might not be able to finish in the few days agreed, and if they can ship it to you. Since I live in an Asian country with terrible shipping experiences, that would not work for me. I got them to finish my stuff a few hours before I had to leave for the airport, but make sure you agree what you want and when. If you go, it's best to email them and make an appointment. They easily get 50 people a day in their shop. It's on Sukhumvit at the back of Soi 8.

I will be in Bangkok from the 12th of this month and i would like to reach out to anyone available to meet up and hit the clubs with. I've NEVER actually been in a Bangkok nightclub believe it or not.

I've been to Thailand many times since 2011 and banged loads of girls by doing online stuff and approaching girls out and about but the clubs have always eluded me for some reason. The only places I've been are hooker-infested clubs in Pattaya.

Yes RCA is where you should be playing the game at. Both Onyx and Route 66 are located there. These are very decent venues which attract normal girls.

Yeah I can attest, In 2014 I was 24, now I'm 27 and back then Tinder WAS A GOLDMİNE in Bangkok. New dates every day no problems. But even back then getting a 7 on tinder was hard, not to mention you had to weed out a lot of ladyboys too.

This time I went back in 2016 April had a much harder time getting matches on Tinder, but Thaifriendly still yielded good results.

Back then I had a very poor style I used to roll into night venues with tshirts and shorts, but now I place a huge importance on my style and am usually suited up.

Tinder is now hit mainstream in most asian countries, your previous post about filled with farang hunters is probably outdated. TF probably your best bet.

Now you got the typical middle / upper-middle class ladies who can speak decent English looking for attractive same age range guys. Not to mention the flood of Chinese, Japanese, and Korean tourists.

I play tinder from girls phones from time to time. Competition is almost none existing. The Philippines or Vietnam are better for a bang-trip though. Yeah it's crazy how much a huge city like Bangkok can change so much in the space of a couple of years. I also went in 2014, 2015 and again in 2016 and the dating scene is almost unrecognisable to 2014. Hudsonhicks, it isn't you mate. I know for a fact that I'm better looking now than I was in 2014 (Grew some hair, worked on style) and although I do still do well with farang fan girls it's more difficult to penetrate that middle class society. Being a foreigner in Route 66 isn't a novelty anymore, unless you look like an actor, model etc, perfectly fit the "The Thai preferred look" of longer blonde hair, blue eyes, and dress well. Back in 2014 I was one of maybe 3 or 4 foreigners in the place on a couple of occasions and girls were pretty much fighting to get me to their table. Still, it's possible to have a lot of fun in Bangkok if you fit the criteria and are persistent. You may just have to work harder for it and not expect anything other than a hooker or a farang hunter from Khao San Road to fall in your lap.

I decided after my last trip I won't be heading to BKK again for a long period of time, only for a conference or specific event. Its not just the fierce competiion, I just feel like Thai people are starting to really dislike farangs, the prices are soaring up, its just not worth it anymore when you can go somewhere else (if your goal is easy puss). Thailand is still a beautiful country to visit, and its still perhaps my #2 or #3 favorite country in the world for stuff besides women like the food and culture. I spent about 2 months there last year, it took me about a solid month to get some good momentum and a few girls on the rotation. In 2014 it would have taken me an hour. If you are going for less than 10 days, unless you have blondhair/blue eyes don't expect much other then a hooker or ugly chick on khao san.

PPS. Thai Friendly is still very solid for now. And overall getting laid in BKK is still easier then a lot of places, but by 2018 i think that will not be the case.

Monday and Tuesday is most quite. Sunday Wednesday and Thursday is still good. Yup farang fee all week and now you only get 200 bath worth of tokens and 100 fee for 300 bath. Onyx is 500 bath but fuck that place. They hate foreigners in there not kidding even if you come with your Thai friends.
