Using protection in South East Asia?
What's the consensus on the protection front in SEA? Always use or it's generally ok?

Do you even use condoms for BJs? I've generally not used them for BJs or for sex actually -- always really banged with girls from a certain socioeconomic class, all of them are just as deathly afraid of having kids so they're invariably on the pill or using some sort of nuvaring or something. Kinda been spoiled, especially at law school -- everyone's incentivized towards safe sex, no kids, so lots of raw dogging.

I assume need to be more careful in SEA? Gonna be based out of Singapore, probably low risk, but Manila, BKK and Jakarta high risk?

RE: Using protection in South East Asia?
For blowjobs, the risk is damn low.

But, here's a story to scare you. I want to make sure guys here know the risks. It's a story from Taiwan that I've shared before (a more developed country than Southeast Asian ones, so take it into context accordingly).

I picked up a girl from one of the dive bars in Taipei. I had seen her around before. I'd seen her with a friend once, but I think she was on her own the other time I saw her. She looked slutty, but she was damn hot. Looked half-Taiwanese and half-Russian. Was arguably the best looking woman I banged during my time in Taipei.

I took her home and did her with a condom on.

In the morning, she started giving me a blowjob. She said that she wanted me to go down on her afterwards. I said "ok", but I had little interest in the second part.

She finished, and I half-arsedly got into position, as I wanted more sex. But upon looking at her vagina I just refused. It looked kinda weird. It was wet and hissing at me. I don't like performing the act as it is. But this - coupled with my pulsating hangover - made it a definite 'no'.

Anyway, she had a strop, and I couldn't be bothered to coax her back towards sex. I just wanted her gone so I could sleep off my hangover.

She got dressed and I walked her to the MRT station. On the way she told me that she has an alcoholic English boyfriend that's always too drunk to fuck her, so she goes out looking for sex. She gave me a kiss goodbye and put my Line ID in her phone. I deleted the number on the walk back as I didn't want any drama.

Three days later, I was posted up at the bar in Luxy. A Dutch guy came up to me.

Him: "Hey man, I saw you go home with that girl on Saturday, did you fuck her?".
Me: "Yeah, sure did"
Him: "*Grins* I asked my friend and he said she has HIV"
Me: "Oh it's ok I used a condom" (In my mind I was going fucking ape-shit. Why the fuck didn't he tell me?! just goes to show how any man will fuck you over when it comes to women. If I was big I'd have probably fucking punched him)

Anyway, despite using a condom I was pretty scared, being the hypochondriac I am. I got tested six weeks after the incident, three months after the incident, and recently five months after the incident. I'm clean (bizarrely of all STI's).

So, my advice is make sure that you suss out the situation. In that case, I knew she was a slut and used a condom. In other situations I don't use one.

If you say "I want to take the condom off" and she puts up no resistance, then keep it on, right? haha

It's often a bit harder to tell who's 'gutter-quality' in Asia, as everyone looks 'Asian' and perhaps 'innocent'. But like, In Britain, you'll see a chav girl and'll know what the deal is.

Just be careful.

Stay safe RVF Grouphug

RE: Using protection in South East Asia?
In Manila I would probably recommend it especially for girls that seem to have longer histories, only because these chicks don't know shit about std's. I was surprised on my way to baguio to see political signs saying "No to safe sex" because Catholicism. I haven't used one about half the time (six) some of these girls were pretty risky. the next morning I would always get a little bit stressed out.

A girl last weekend criticized the smell of mine and I thought she might have been right because there was definitely something off. I was thinking maybe it was her pussy which is what I told her, though I wasn't entirely sure of that. So I got tested today and came back completely clean (wtf?) I think its because I've been eating a bunch of meat/seafood for the protein to maximize on my workouts.

I agree with you 100%. What he joked about is absolutely never a joking matter.

But it was a weird situation, very hard to explain. Actually, that night I pulled a different girl.

To elaborate, at the time of hearing the guy say that, my mind went a bit frenetic, but I mostly thought "Ah well, I knew she looked skanky and I used a condom, who cares" then I went on to fuck the other girl twice (with a condom on). I was concentrated on the new bang, and just took it as what it was. Plus maybe deep-down I was just trying to save face and didn't want him to get one over on me?

It was only until the morning that I realised the magnitude of his cuntish-ness. And it was only until a week later that I got scared about the risk.

I know this sounds like a case of "Oh I totally would have smacked him down but my shoes were tied", but so be it haha.

A lot of other RVF-ers would have bloody murdered him, I'm sure haha.

Anyway, I don't want to derail the thread so that it just concentrates on my weird story. Many guys with WAY more SEA experience than me will hopefully contribute below:

I don't know how it works in Taiwan, but in Canada if you have HIV and don't warn your sex partner you can go to jail.

There have been 3 girls I never wore a condom with. Two were virgins so I wasn't worried of catching anything, and the third girl was a slut but I was drunk as hell and didn't put one on. A year later I got tested for HIV, gonorrhea and Chlamydia. All came up negative.

After that incident I decided to quit drinking heavily.

RE: Using protection in South East Asia?
Here's a story that might make you think twice about not wrapping up...some guy posted a picture on here of a chick he banged from Date in Asia. Within a couple of days I think at least 5 other forum members stepped up saying they met her on DIA and banged her as well.

In most countries, foreigners have access to a very small subset of the female population (I dread thinking about the number of eskimo brothers I might have). There's really no reason to not wrap it up when you consider the following:
1) Most guys have access to a small subset of the women in a foreign country. We're probably all fucking the same chicks
2) Most of the women who fuck foreigners are serial foreigner fuckers
3) Far too many women in foreign countries (in America too) seem to have no concept of STDs or getting tested regularly.
4) A lot of the Asian countries are pretty permissive in terms of having a kid out of wedlock so tons of women don't fear pregnancy. IIRC Thailand has a ridiculous number of girls 16 and under who are unwed with a kid
5) We don't usually get "good" girls we get the girls who are good at acting good

I raw dogged my share of chicks in SEA but they usually fell into 2 categories:
1) I knew she was only seeing me because of the amount of time we spent together. It doesn't mean she doesn't already have something but it at least means she can be committed for the short/long run.
2) The condom broke and I just said fuck it. I don't necesarilly recommend this, but if you limit exposure and don't cum in her you reduce the risks as much as you can.

Home in America I try to always wrap it up because I've met way too many ordinary chicks who don't get tested but never make guys wear a condom. Truth be told I'd feel more comfortable barebacking an escort than a regular chick in most cases.

I don't usually use a condom for a bj. Unless she has opensores and something really sinister going on, the worst you'll get is something that antibiotics will cure. For some reason getting a bj with a condom makes me think of being with a street hooker.

RE: Using protection in South East Asia?
Leighton, I get the feeling that Dutch guy is probably just a bitter fag who has probably tried hitting on that chick and got rejected (you said she was hot, right?)

Maybe he had even tried "taking her to dinner and a movie" or some stupid shit and she didn't bang him.

When he saw you walk out the bar with her he got butt hurt and tried to diss you.

Did he seem like a typical "white guy in Asia thinking he's the shit but is actually a loser back home" type of guy?

If so, this seems like a much more logical explanation to me than a random Dutch foreigner knowing very private health issues about a local girl he doesn't even know.

RE: Using protection in South East Asia?
It's my understanding that most people have the Herpes (Hsv-1) antibodies in their system. The CDC says it's 90% of the population. Most get the virus during childhood and never show any systems. That said, once it's in your system it has located itself in an area, so if some chick goes down on you and she has HSV-1, you won't get it on your dick unless you don't already have HSV-1 and even then it's not likely. Make sense? HSV-2 is the genital jazz you really don't want and it's estimated that 20% have it and most never show symptoms either. All the other stuff can be cured with antibiotics, it's the HIV of course that's the big worry, and if you stay away from pros and junkies the risk is quite low I imagine.

Are you guys aware that it's almost impossible to get HIV from a girl through normal vaginal intercourse? I thought this was common knowledge in the red pill community.

There are many good reasons to strap up but yeah, you're not going to get HIV from banging some slut raw one time. I'd be dead by now if that were the case.

For a disease as serious as HIV, "almost impossible" still isn't good enough for me.

That article says the chance for transmission is 1 in 900 if you hit the pussy raw.

That means once she's had sex 900 times (3 years? 5 years?), one dude will have drawn the short straw.

Those aren't terrible odds, but do you really want to roll that dice?

I'm sure there are a lot of HIV positive dudes wandering around that had the same "that shit will never happen to me" song playing in their head while they were rooting some bar slut.

No matter how hot the girl is, she isn't worth that shit.

I vote wrap it up.

RE: Using protection in South East Asia?
Agreed, I have a crazy (perhaps irrational) fear of HIV. It's like a Medieval disease to me. I want a 0% chance of getting it.

It's hard to explain, but I just wouldn't feel human anymore if I had it. I'd hate to live out my years with that thing eating at my body.

You just wouldn't be able to function again without your mind going crazy all the time. (Though I accept I may have been influenced by Western media's portrayal of the disease)

Chylamydia, ah how cute
Gonnorrhea, now now, what's this?
Herpes, steady now, you're taking the piss
HIV, ABORT ABORT ABORT

Plus I like sticking my nob in girl's arses. If you do that without a condom on (I always wrap up for that), then the risk increases a lot.

Wouldn't it just be the same risk as being a 'top' gay dude? (Providing that she actually has the disease that is. The risk is going to be higher among gay men rather than a heterosexual couple who predominantly stick to vaginal intercourse).

But yeah, in terms of unprotected vaginal intercourse, you're far more likely to get a heap of other things twice over before you get HIV.

I vote wrap it up.

Lots of men lie about homosexual experiences or using drugs which tends to skew the figures of many of these studies.

You also need to find yourself an HIV-positive girl first which is harder than you'd think.

The bottom line is this:

If you are straight, avoid doing anal and don't inject yourself with drugs, the odds of getting HIV from a girl are EXTREMELY low.

Sure, you should wrap up. But as a straight guy there's no need to be paranoid about HIV. Don't fall for the propaganda that is designed to play down the risks of homosexual behaviour and tell us that we all have the "same risk". It's politically-correct BS.

People should be wrapping it up for other reasons than the HIV risk. Unwanted pregnancy is MUCH more likely.

OP is lucky he didn't raw dog. Can't trust these bitches out here, particularly in America. Getting a crazy bitch pregnant is my biggest fear. I have to respectfully disagree with the raw dog enthusiasts of the world. But if I was doing what Roosh was doing, away from my home country, I probably wouldn't give a fuck either (no pun intended).

Guys really just need to learn to stay away from SEAsia. Practically all girls have been hookers in the past, or still are, and like 25% of them have HIV. I really wouldn't risk it. You guys should go somewhere safer like France or Germany. Asian girls have no ass anyways. Gaming in Asia is like trying out for the special Olympics, only retards with no game play there.

On that note, I met a ton of 50+ guys who were in Thailand who just didn't give a fuck about using protection. One guy I talked to in Udon who was around 60 was telling me how he had gotten 3 chicks pregnant in the last year and was hoping to knock up another one before he went home at the end of the week. I asked him if he worried about getting a disease and his response was that he was going to die in about 10 years anyway so why not have fun on the way out.

RE: Using protection in South East Asia?
Keep in mind that the very low HIV transmission rate from female to male can be skewed by several factors. Are you circumcised or not? If not, that ups your risk. Do you have any other STI's already? If you're raw dogging it on the regular you might and that ups your risk. Is she on her period or is there any blood present? Do you have any small cuts or scratches on your cock? All of those factors can make you more susceptible.

I agree that the overall risk is very low but for me it's not one that I would like to take with any girl I have any questions about. Keep in mind that while abortion is illegal in Thailand with some exceptions. There are many places that will be fine with performing an abortion but it is generally very frowned upon in Thai society. I've met a few Thai girls from lower class backgrounds that have told me how they really want to have a beautiful half foreign baby. I got the sense they would never have an abortion if they impregnated.

If not, that ups your risk. Do you have any other STI's already? If you're raw dogging it on the regular you might and that ups your risk. Is she on her period or is there any blood present? Do you have any small cuts or scratches on your cock? All of those factors can make you more susceptible.

What is the logic behind uncircumcised guys being more at risk?
