Sometimes I feel down about my life's achievements. I didn't start Facebook. I didn't master some sport or become a great guitar player.

Then I think back to all the stupid, arrogant, bitchy, or damaged women I dated when I was young and horny. Most of them were trying to trap me into marriage of some sort. Just the thought makes my balls shrivel.

Somehow, I managed to wiggle out of attachments to these losers (after getting the sex I wanted) and, became wiser and found the rare sweet non-Feminist wife. Our kids have never had their hearts ripped apart by divorce and have never seen their father trivialized.

So I don't feel so bad.

So for any young guy, I'd say, if you can avoid the trap of bad women, pat yourself on the back.

Yes I agree completely. I know a lot of guys who have endured bad marriages but done great. There are a lot of ways to be successful as a man.

Ironically I wanted marriage. But any women I was involved with always felt they were too young for marriage. We're talking 20-25 range. Go figure. For a long time I thought there was something wrong with me because I couldn't tie down one of these women. You can fuck them easy enough but marriage is a whole other thing.

Eventually I came to the realization that to tie a woman down you need to be able to offer her a lifestyle equal to or greater than what she has at home for her to consider it. Look at the car she drives. Look at the house she lives in ...most likely her parents' house. That's what they want. Most women in their prime live at home so they can have tons of disposable income to spend on clothes and partying. They're not gonna go from a cushy rent free house to a one bedroom apartment with you unless their home life is miserable or maybe abusive.

At 25 I said fuck it with these bitches. I focused on school and career. I just kept my fuckbuddies around for entertainment and I went to work. Now a lot of these same girls in my circle are mid 30's, have gained some weight, cake on the make-up and are looking at me like a marriage prospect. I banged a few that I crushed on from back in the day just for novelty sake. But I'm not interested in anything serious unless a woman is slim and under 30 ...if that.
