I've seen previews. I can tell a lot from the previews.

*It's typical feminist narrative garbage. The guy meets an attractive, highly desirable women shortly after falling in love with his computer's operating system. And guess what?!?!?!? She likes him just for who he is! Turns out, the system isn't conspiring against male! You just have to wait to meet the right person! It's only a matter of time!

*It is most likely that there is a happy ending, with him realizing that there is no substitute for a real flesh and blood woman. After all, there is no way a man can be happy without having a woman in his life. There is a small chance that the film goes the European Art Film route and he ends up choosing the computer to the woman, but somehow I doubt that.

This film is going to do us all a disservice.

For those of you who are too busy to read it, I'll summarize.

• Omega man is sad because he's getting a divorce.
• He's super-sad and lonely, so he buys a sentient OS.
• He falls in love with it.
• He finds out that it's cuckolding him with 616 other men.
• It dumps him to ascend to a "higher plane of existence".
• After he loses his electronic love, some human girl takes pity on him and it ends with them staring platonically into the LA skyline at night.
  

That's just awful, in all kinds of ways. That said, and perhaps I'm simply revealing my own omega tendencies here, I would rather be in a relationship with a computerized Scarlett Johansson than many of the woman I see on the street.

Just saw it. I think it's more insightful into the implications of sentient AI, over-interconnectedness, and the loneliness of modernity. Looking for feminist propaganda ignores the bigger issues that the movie addresses. The future looks interesting at the very least.

Loved the movie. It had a couple of parts where I cringed from a cheesy scene but overall it was really fucking good. Especially like the ending and final shot. Musical score was excellent.
