RE: Ukraine cautionary tale
Well half the time I was in survival mode due to my poor knowledge of Russian and of how local stuff works. Doing basic things was a challenge. It was an intense experience.

RE: Ukraine cautionary tale
Prosal was one the best and most knowledgeable posters in here specially about Russia. I know the guy from way back from another forum about Brazil which got highjacked by trolls before being deleted and he was always dropping quality gems. Sure he has a direct, cocky and at times annoying style, but the quality of his posts along with his deep vast traveling experiences around the world cannot be questioned. Does anyone have this guy's contact info as I'd love to get in touch with him!

I had a surreal night with Prosal in another part of Ukraine. If you get the opportunity to meet him, you might think very highly of him.

I think he is still on a well known P4P forum, it's easy to find.

Yes, I second Vacancier, Prosal's posts were legendary. His post on Tashkent should be required reading for every FSU connoisseur. It's a shame to this forum that he was banned (what for???).

I can second the rep on Prosal - he was a very gracious host when I met up with him.

I know he came across as arrogant to some forum members (due to his fashion views and reputation as a rich guy mostly I guess?) and that's a shame, but he was pretty down to earth and a good wing when I went out with him. His Tashkent thread was very solid - am dying to get there at some point.

Seconded for the third time. No other poster had the FSU experience that guy had, a wealth of knowledge. Quite a few members here are cocky and brag about the money they throw around, yet are still here. There seemed to be some bias against Prosal because he was french. Can we bring him back?

That's my blog, and I actually posted a few posts before you. As far as hooking up a lot...that was the case until I got my current girlfriend...for the most part.

Sol, I really enjoy your posts - you need to post more often lol!

Anyway, I am sorry for some of the headaches you have had but I do appreciate the honest commentary in your posts. Be well.
