This forum has grown from a strictly game forum, to a pretty broad place where diverse manosphere ideas come to accommodate each other. Cardguy isn't a troll, at all. It's a travesty he's being labelled as such.

He is MGTOW though, so perhaps this isn't the best forum for him, sure. Although, he supplies so much value outside of game that it would be a complete travesty to label him as a troll.

The phrase "Putting the pussy on the pedestal" might be the most misquoted and misunderstood sentence in all the manosphere along with "Humans are not naturally monogamous".

The first problem is this: if you're not having fun, you're doing it wrong. I personally gain enjoyment from knowing that I have a sense of self-control and won't stuff myself silly with chocolate, alcohol or porn, all of which would almost be guaranteed to be detrimental to my future health and future pleasure (by numbing my receptors).

Having self-control is a reward unto itself. Calling it "comically ascetic" is just wrong. Asceticism, like anything else, is a tool for maximization of pleasure. No one here is promoting asceticism out of sadomasochism or guilt, and visualizing it as some kind of self-punishment is grossly misleading. If you honestly believe that people here don't enjoy life, then you're just trolling us.

Which leads to the second problem: "guilt". How are you possibly finding an "irrational guilt complex" here? I've never talked to a single person off this forum who was even the slightest under the influence of a puritanical society or following some sort of religious dogma just because someone instructed them to. You won't find a more anti-puritanical place anywhere on Earth, starting with our sharp dismissal of white-knighting and refusing to view women as pure/morally superior creatures like 90% of society does. If anyone here is skipping porn, it is certainly not due to irrationality.

That naturally leads to the third problem: biology places women on the pedestal no matter what you think about it. We all know what pedestalization is: having your self-worth dependent on how much approval you gain from the (theorethically) superior female beings. Seeking to fuck hot women and realizing that many things in life were actually set up to allow us that (such as old cultures knowing that sloth is bad, or guessing that excessive porn/masturbation can be destructive for your sexual drive) is not pedestalization. Your argument is the phrase misunderstood and taken to its logical extreme, but no one here actually lives like that. We could just as well say that breathing is pedestalization.
