This gives me a glimmer of hope for the future, that a girl like her can actually find the drive and discipline to improve herself. Esp. considering this is after her time in the spotlight, not during.

Agreed. I'll give props for the considerable improvement in fitness but she's still as nasty as a dog's asshole. I'm not one of those "2/10 WNB" guys (currently banging a 5), but I don't think I could slam Snooki even for the notoriety. That South Park episode is burned into my brain.

Paint me cynical, but it's probably because she's not in the limelight anymore with all of the attendant attention. She didn't need to be fit back then, but she certainly does now.

I think the attitude is something she overdoes for the sake of the show.

Her boyfriend was there playing bodyguard and hovering over her like a hawk.

Props for losing the weight, though. Got to give her respect for that, if we're serious about fat shaming. But her issues go way deeper than just weight loss.

Interesting how the weight loss does bring out her Latina flavor, though. That face could have come right out of any Spanish-speaking country in South America.

She is supposedly of part-Italian descent, although she is Chilean. There is a fair amount of Italian influence in Chile. I met a girl from Santiago last year who I was sure was from Italy. I walked up to her and started speaking Italian and she had no idea what I was talking about. It turns out all four of her grandparents were from Italy, but she was Chilean.
