She arrived kind of late. We made some chit chat and she was giving me ALL the signs of rejection. She wouldn’t look at me, neither while speaking nor listening. They waiter arrived with our food and slipped on the puddle. Hit himself hard. Food went flying everywhere. The staff realized and scolded me and told me I should remoce all the snow before coming in. I said I’m sorry and continued on with the “date”. It was really awkward, but I tried to salvage it. When she asked me what my favourite color was I said “The blue of your eyes”, which was followed by a long, awkward silence. We finally got to the dessert and I thought to myself “Come on man, you can salvage this!”, so I tried to be playful by “stealing” some of her cake with my fork. She gave me the worst WTF expression. In the end I told her I’d pay for her meal, she said it’s fine, but I insisted more so I paid for it. We went outside and I asked for a goodbye hug, and she gave me the most awkward side-hug on the planet. I didn’t know what to do in the three seconds it lasted. She said bye and started walking away, but in a last act of desperation I said wait, and tried to arrange a new date. I suggested a day, she said no, I suggested another, she said no, my beta ass suggested a THIRD day. Nope.

That was the longest, saddest, wettest walk home. At least I learned a lot. But it still haunts me.”

At lease he seems cognizant of his Betaness. There is hope for him. More than can be said for the dudes with Waifus.

You know, we put up an article making fun of feminists on RoK and they all go "Wow, Just Wow!" and scream that they don't believe it's real. Here we are shaming men- somehow I doubt we are going to see any of the rage the fat shaming articles on Return of Kings get.

That said, I am all for this beta shaming. It's a great example for the world what not to do.
