- Keeping extensive notes about diet and how it effects performance.
- Strength training of the fingers, toes, neck, ankles, etc.
- "Balance work" for athletes.
-"Sport specific" stretching and flexibility.

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar went to him for help with flexibility and balance.

Fair point.

Maybe, Bruce was the one who popularized it in the modern era.

The Greeks knew the value of diversity in terms of their fighting arts. After them, things got a bit more structured and less diverse.

Bruce brought the skill diversity back to fighting. Or, at least he made it popular again.
