For anyone in Thailand in Feb 2014....

Sasha (of Sashapua) is coming to Bangkok to give a talk.

He's a really cool guy, red pill as they come, teaches daygame and has done for years.

But now he's as much a "wake the fuck up and start living your life" coach as a dating coach.

I will be going - anyone who wants to hear a great speaker should come too - will be very motivating and there's nothing wrong with some motivation now and again!

Not sure on price - on his website he says £69 which is about 3600 baht which seems fucking expensive by Thai standards! I shall ask him and confirm. Maybe I'll try and explain to him how much that is in Thailand and see if he'll knock the price down.

I am not sold on Sasha.

He is way to over the top. He is basically a comedian/entertainer who also does pick up. His high energy non stop talking is so far from my style I could never identify with the guy.

Vendetta, maybe im being overly cynical, but why do you think this guy offers any value to people? After watching how out of shape he is, ridiculous hair, terribly dressed, running what in my opinion is clown game, I could never take this dude seriously.

But on the subject of his pick-up, and other 'PUAs':

Am I the only guy here who really hates 'PUA'?

Like, a lot of PUA guys on the internet seem to resemble failed magicians. They have this shiny, caricature-esque element to them. As if sarging women is a serious of corny lines and monkey dances.

The reason I took to this forum (and Bang), is because it gets all the lingo and 'front' out of the way, and concentrates on BANGING girls. Not getting numbers.

I've seen PUA guys in action, and in my opinion, the guys I've met from here are LIGHT-YEARS ahead of them. Plus they're much more fun to be around.

There was a group in Taipei called 'Taipei Wingman International'. They used to daygame at Taipei Main Station, and the main guy used to teach 'pick-up' to people for money.

Sasha's whole thing now, is about being authentically YOU.

He sees traditional 'game' as guys just running round with a mask on, pretending to be someone they are not, in the hope of impressing the girl.

What he is now teaching, is expressing to the girl how you feel about her, directly and naturally. It's about becoming a better man every day, not just about game. He believes that by facing ones fears every day, one becomes more alive and more of a man. That is why I feel he is appropriate for this forum.

Sasha has acknowledged that in his own game, he realized that he was in fact hiding behind his comedy persona (he used to do stand-up in London for a living) and in fact was not being his true self. He realized the comedy and clowniness was actually holding him back from being authentic.

In this following example, you can see his progress from that realization:





I met him once in London and he is one of the few pickup guys who seems to genuinely care about not only his students but people in general. There are very few "gurus" I would recommend but he is one for sure.

His hair, clothes, jokes etc, is what he does. Why shouldn't he express himself his own way? There is no one way to get girls or go through life - how dull that would be. I doubt we'll ever see Sasha running "suit" game for example!

If after watching those, you still don't think he has any value to offer you, no problem. Some guys have a different outlook and different needs or are already happy where they are. For anyone that likes what he does and says, come to the talk.

Highlights from last night:

Does not sound that you like teaching so much... If this is the case, then just register at one of those freelancing sites and within 1-2 weeks you will make more and easy money than with teaching to annoying kids.

Haha. Just grammar man. The bane of the TEFL teacher, and the only part where we have to do some thinking. However, good point, I should probably look into freelancing.

It looks like a decent gig though. 50,000 Baht and a visa to teach 11 hours a week to rich Thai kids. The lessons look like 10 minutes of painful grammar-teaching, followed by 50 minutes of writing/going-over a worksheet.

Really though, I LOVE TEFL. It gets a bad rep in my eyes. Should always be considered as the 'easy option' for a location independent lifestyle.

If you wanna live in an Asian country NOW, then it's the easiest way to turn up and not starve.

You'll never earn the salary of an International playboy, but it'll keep you away from British girls, will stick beers on the table and will put Asian girls in your bed. The career satisfies my immaturity greatly.

Plus when I get bored I hop country. Luckily there's no 'building up your resume' in the world of TEFL. (Well there is, but you can just lie. No one in China is gonna know the difference between a real/fake resume from Mr Kim's English School in Seoul).

I haven't done a hard days work in 15 months. (Used to be a Civil Engineer outside of London. They realised I was lazy and got me folding A0 sheets of paper every day. I left after eight weeks.)

In Korea, i got a free apartment and 2200USD a month to hand out word-searches and play games. They even paid for my flight out of the Gulag (Britain).

In Taipei, I got the same salary to teach 11 hours a week, with all the lesson plans pre-made. Worked 3pm to 9pm. Drank a lot.

So: Stuck in a glass-and-metal cage in America/England? Have yellow fever? Immature like me? Teach English.

(Though BE WARNED: it's not all rosy. Korean xenophobia will fucking get you down! Plus I've always had good luck with my TEFL gigs. Actually, that's how you land a good TEFL gig: LUCK.
