Sounds like you made a decision lol.

Every consulate is different, but I went through a travel agency in NYC called ItsEasy. I was there for a 9 day business trip as I paid $220.00 for everything, though it was less than normal because I didn't need overnight shipping back to Texas (Dropped off and picked up everything within that span).

In the Houston consulate, an appointment is required so I didn't see any pt wasting gas money to visit them via 4.5 hour drive. Then again, August 2011 was a time when consulate visits were granting 5 year visas whereas ItsEasy negotiated a 10 year visa for me. All Brazilian visas now whether consulate or agency visits are currently 10 years.

What month do you plan on visiting Brazil?

I'm in Seattle and the nearest consulate is in San Francisco so I think I might just use one of those processing services.

Good decision making...

Mid-Dec to Carnaval in Feb are great times to hit up beach cities in Brazil as all the NYE/holiday parties will be there.

Cities in interior like São Paulo and Belo Horizonte are diluted as hell during those times, but pick up again around mid-late March when people aren't so poor from overspending during the holidays haha.

Really a crapshoot. Not too late to get a Brazilian visa for Feb/March, but Asia might be better deal during the time. After all, you need to have a RT ticket booked for Brazil to get the visa in the first place as one of the requirements.

Really bloody enjoyed last night, was on top form. It was one of those nights where you enjoy 'the game' for what it is, and consequently you leave with a girl.

Levels is a small place. In my opinion, if you're rolling solo, you have to be prepared to park up at the bar for a fair chunk of the night. You'll look awkward if you stand anywhere else. (This is coming from a guy who NEVER does this. I like to move around and dance and stuff). Also, there's nowhere outside to park up and have a fag (that's cigarette for you non-Brits).

Parking up at the bar was interesting. I got a good spot and the girls practically came to me. (Now I know why many guys on here do this, hehe). I did various warm-up approaches, then moved off to go and open more sets.

I opened a girl on the edge of the room with "Are you Korean?".

(Actually, I opened every girl with this : D. Works pretty well I find. My approaches consisted of cheeky kid/Russell-Brand-esque style 'game'. I made sure to grin at everyone I talked to. She found this hilarious and I escalated it more. I then cheekily said "Do I get a kiss then?". She pecked me on the lips. Though interestingly, after this, she got a bit shy. I took her LINE ID and moved on. (Aiming to come back to her later. It was still early).

I parked up at the bar again, and some girl in a multi-coloured dress stood next to me. I opened her, and started teasing her about her dress, saying she looked like a rainbow/bag of candy. She laughed a lot and I got some kino. But I moved on, I planned to come back to her later.

I then opened a group of three, with my same (dreadful) opener. They laughed a lot. (I find Thai girls find this a lot more flattering than Taiwanese girls. Often they said 'Thank you : S'. Oh, what a compliment!).

I managed to isolate one of them and started escalating. The two friends turned away and left us to it (how nice of them). My aim was to get her to playfully punch me on the arm. I kept speaking Korean to her and kept joking that she had a Korean face. I kept jokingly asking her if she'd had plastic surgery (Yeah, you have to be REALLY careful with this. If you don't get your cheekiness across, she'll probably slap you.)

Eventually, I once again asked "So, do I get a kiss?". She giggled and pecked me on the lips. I took her Line ID and said I'd come back later (Maybe I should've stayed, but 'Kunt' was hotter).

I found 'Kunt' again and picked up the conversation from where I left it. She started saying how much she loved British accents, so I played up to this. To cut a long story short, we left together. Her friends were very accommodating and just left us to it. No cock-blocks all night.

Haha no. My bad, I meant I was 'currently in Subway toilet' (and had pulled). On the way back I got hungry and insisted we go to Subway to get food (that could have killed the atmosphere). Yeah, Korean women are the epitome of beauty to Southeast Asians - the women want to be them and the men dream about fucking them. They definitely are into K-pop.

I've got no recommendations for BKK. My stomping grounds were in Chiang Mai and it's been a couple years now (my last big stay in Thailand was Samui). Rio is definitely the guy to listen to as far as BKK goes.

I used to do all the classy Thai discos solo though - I've done it in RCA too. I hardly ever went to those places with farangs (and when I did I usually ended up wandering off on my own lol).

Sure, it's awkward at first but get a bottle or a drink and post up at one of the little tables by yourself. Smile and cheers the surrounding tables, starting with the guys if you must, and eventually you'll work your way in somewhere, assuming you've got the right attitude and a big enough smile.

RCA is terrible solo imo, but if you do decide to go hit it much later- say 11.30pm or 12. For shoring hysterical, go to insanity (or wtvr its called). You can enter for free through the dinner or get a tuk tuk guy to drive you to insanity for free (or if you bargain with him, he'll give you 100 baht). Cover is 200-250bt (tuk-tuk guys get a 75%-90% cut).

For me it's worth it. I think all of this is a lot more entertaining and bearable if you're an alcoholic, by the way.

Anyways, you can repeat the above experience in just about any town in Southeast Asia.

Disclaimer: You can definitely get laid infiltrating social circles at Thai discos, but if pussy as fast as possible is your main concern, you can get it with a lot less work. I don't know that doing all this was ever just about the hunt for me.

That was a great night!

Rolling solo is difficult there, but it's doable. You do have to be prepared to power through a lot of awkward moments haha, but If you've rolled solo before, it's not impossible.

The aim of the night is to get invited to a table haha.

I think I might go again tonight actually.

Let me start by confirming that the talent there ABSOLUTELY compares to Taipei. Thai girls are hot.

Anyway, I think the best thing to do is concentrate on being in the outside area. When I got there, I walked through the complex to get a feel for it, and wasn't liking anywhere inside. It's too loud and just packed full of close-knit social groups. Looks really hard to infiltrate inside.

I parked up outside and had a smoke. Then I started talking to the guy next to me, who was with his girlfriend. He's in the Thai military. I joked with him and said "Ah, so you know how to *choking action* ;-) ;-)?". (I couldn't really think of anything else, but he found it funny). I offered him and his girlfriend a fag, and this opened them up even further. (I find this an amazingly cheap way to open people up). He said I look like a "Typical British". I complimented him back by saying he dressed American (I think that was what he was going for).

I stuck with them for a bit, then I noticed a girl who was on the way back to her table. I stopped her and did my predictable opener. She responded well. We talked for a bit, then she invited me to her table. She grabbed my hand and led the way.

It was a table of drunk Thai girls and a gay Filipino photographer. One of the girls was VERY sociable. She wasn't great looking (a 6/10), but she introduced herself with a hug. The guy then stuck a drink in my hand. Huzzah! I was at a table!

We drunk together, downed some drinks, and danced around the table together. The key is to just be massively sociable with everyone. Don't isolate. (A few months ago I might have acted too serious to get any traction here, and I might have been too centered on 'getting the bang'.)

The great thing about being at a table, is that you can then open up the adjacent tables. Again, just be sociable and complimentary to everyone, guys and girls. I had a lot of fun just talking to random people in the vicinity.

I was at the table for about an hour, then I did some wondering. There were some girls at the edge of the outside area, so I went and spoke to them. Then I just started approaching everyone who wasn't 100% glued to a table. Just be in a 'party mood' rather than a 'game mood'.

Eventually, I was feeling the alcohol and was bloody piss-drunk. The night is really patchy from here on.

I approached two cute 7's teased them about being Korean/A ladyboy. Then somehow I ended up in the back of a taxi with both of them heading to Mixx, arms round both of them :-P. I can't remember what I was saying but the taxi driver was cracking up with us.

We arrived at Mixx, and we all went to the bathroom (not together).

Then I don't know what really happened. I was drunk, the momentum dropped a bit, and I just didn't want to go in. I really have an irrational hatred for places which are full of pros and backpackers. I think I assessed that these girls weren't going to put out, and I didn't want to spend two boring hours in Mixx.

So I headed off and got a taxi home. Perhaps a very stupid decision looking back, but in my drunk state I must have weighed something up.

The good thing though: That group wants me to go out with them tonight. The 6 messaged me an hour ago saying "You can come to my room. I want to go to the beach....I have a car" Then she tried to call me when I was in the shower : S. I think she's batshit insane!!

Yeah, in Taipei I was 100% concentrated on getting the bang and nothing else. I made no real Taiwanese friends and actually didn't get much out of the experience if I'm honest. I want to have more fun here, not just get some one-night stands. Also, in Taipei, number-closing isn't an option. Girls are MAD flaky there. In my opinion, it's a one-night stand or it's over. Here it looks like a different story. I'm happy to play the game slower if it'll yield a result.

I've found that just enjoying the game for what it is makes life more fun, and actually yields better results with girls anyway (Think Tyler from RSD).
