Yeah - I know about 'butterfaces'. So of course this is not infallible.

But whilst you sometimes see a girl with a hot body - and a slightly ugly face.

I have never seen a girl with a hot face (I am a bit of a 'face' guy when it comes to women) who had a crappy body.

I am guessing there is some subtle evolutionary feature controlled by a hormone - which shows up in the face (the size of the lips, ratio of nose to eyes or some weird shit like that?). Which means she will have also have a banging body.

Anyway - I just wanted to throw this out there. To see if others have given this much thought?

I know it is silly to use a single girl as an example.

But this issue was raised in my mind (again) when I saw this chick (featured in the Soccer thread).

Now - when I see a girl like this in public - just from her face alone. I know she is going to have an incredible body.

The actual correlation is the opposite of what you're thinking. It is not that a hot face makes the body hot, but rather that the chubby (or worse, obese) body ruins the face by obscuring its features with lard. Thus, it is possible to have a hot body with an ugly face, but almost never the opposite.

I have personally never met a woman with an ugly body who was not chubby or obese. It's practically impossible for a woman unless she has a serious genetic defect (extremely mismatched limb lengths, dwarfism, etc.)

Wait a minute. I know alot of slim girls and skinny girls who have ugly faces.

Mind - I often wonder how they might look if they had their hair done and put alot of effort into their makeup.

The sad thing is that alot of girls don't know how to make the most of themselves. Shame since they can learn alot of this shit in a day or two.

how do you account for butterfaces and butterbodies?

Truth is that a pretty face is the keystone to a woman's look. Most of us will go for a butterface over a butterbody, but the truth is that a pretty face is probably a sign that she comes from better genetics.

Why?

A butterbody can get in good shape, but a butterface can't do anything about having a camel face.

I'm seeing a butterface right now. Actually she's really cute from certain angles, but kind of not from others. However, her legs and ass and arms are extremely well proportioned. Small tits though..

But that is not what I meant. I meant to say that if a girl has great genetics for the face, they will be obscured and ruined if she is chubby or obese. That doesn't mean that skinniness makes faces pretty, just that fatness makes faces ugly. Or rather, all fat bodies must result in ugly faces, but not all skinny bodies must result in pretty faces.

Some girls at work thought it 'sweet' that I was a face guy when it comes to women.

I had to explain to them that isn't quite true. The chick needs to have a banging body before I even look at her. And when I do - I pick out the one with the cutest face.

In Los Angeles there are a LOT of obese Latinas (probably likely to be Mexican-American) who have beautiful faces and and obese bodies. It's a fucking tragedy...

Go into any supermarket in a heavily Latino area and check the cashiers out to see what I mean.

When I see a girl with a hot face - then by definiton that face will be slim and not protruding out of three chins.

Now - this is the bit I am interested in - girls with hot slim faces always have hot bodies.

Whereas girls with average/ugly looking slim faces have average bodies.

Why is that? I am convinced there is a hormone which account for hot bodies which also shows up as part of the facial features on a hot face. Even if it is just a very symmetrical face and nothing else.

On a crowded bus or train, I'd notice a beautiful head of hair. More often than not, the girl is has a good looking face.

That's because beautiful women tend to embrace their looks, while not so attractive girls shun theirs.

Yeah - it is a feedback loop.

Hot girls put more effort into their appearances - thus looking hotter.

Average girls can't be bothered - so end up putting in less effort.

Over time this has an interesting effect.

A girl who is 10% hotter than another - will end up 20-30% hotter due to all the extra effort they put into their appearance. Versus the chick (who was once similar in appearance) who is too discouraged to put in the same effort.

I am guessing at the numbers above. But I think something like this does happen in a lot of cases.

I think hair could be the key. It takes alot of effort to make your hair look good. And within a day or two - you need to repeat the process.

So - a girl with great hair will usually be a girl who has everything else going for them as well.

As we all know attractiveness is, for the most part, set in stone. The world over an attractive woman has nice hair/skin, full lips, big tits, round ass, symmetrical face, good w/h ratio etc.

Because of this I'd be willing to bet genes involved in attractiveness are highly linked. ie. they get inherited together. Meaning that someone who genetically has a great body is also predisposed to having a great face. Not only this, but attractive people make babies with other attractive people = more 'attractive' genes to play with.

It's not a big mystery.

Some of the same factors contribute to every aspect of female beauty, whether it's face, body, hair or anything else. Sufficiently high estrogen which controls secondary sexual characteristics everywhere -- nice tits, nice ass, nice quim, nice mouth, nice hair. Good skin which is the key of keys. Symmetry and proportion of development which tend to either be present throughout or not.

In true, serious beauties -- which are very rare -- this reaches a laughable level. Every single thing about such a girl is high quality -- the feet, the calves (often overlooked, but no serious beauty without perfect calves), the knees, the thighs, the crack of the ass, the asshole, the belly, the underarms, the slope of the shoulders, the fall of the hair.

I'm talking highest level beauties -- less than a handful on Athlone's 10 thread would qualify. This one is a good example:

Beauty is all about genes and gene expression. If a girl has good genes and good nutrition both before birth and during childhood (and beyond), she's going to look good. If you make the diet unhealthy (for her or the mother) the result is someone less beautiful and fatter.

The face is more indicative of childhood health since it's skeletal while the body can change over a lifetime dues to diet and lifestyle, but what you're saying is usually true when we're talking about younger girls.

You'll see that a lot of very attractive women tend to be the first born child, and have sibling not quite as good-looking, as the mother's body is usually the strongest during the first pregnancy.

I'd say so, the fat buttabody makes me nearly shed a tear when I see it. Nice hair, great skin but fat. I just want to yell at them "do you know how much of an easier time you'd have if you just went to the gym?!"

These are usually the ones who have always been husky, not once hot now fat buttabodies. Those girls let themselves go to complete shit due to laziness...they have a different air about them, of defeat and sweatshirts.
