Google Chrome just threw me a major warning when I tried to reply to this thread:
/thread-29818.html

It warns me about the page having been infected with content from awardsdaily.com:
"Danger: Malware Ahead!
Google Chrome has blocked access to this page on http://www.rooshvforum.com.
Content from http://www.awardsdaily.com, a known malware distributor, has been inserted into this web page. Visiting this page now is very likely to infect your computer with malware."

This doesn't happen every time. But if you do a forum search for awardsdaily and show posts, then click on the post, it comes up. The 'accused' post is by GameTheory.

Thanks for the heads up, Acute Angle. I am currently running a full system scan on my computer. I am no longer going to be clicking on bitcoin threads from now on.

Keep you heads up, there are tons of people trying to steal bitcoins with viruses that infect your computer and wipe out your bitcoin wallet.

Ironically, the post I was about to make on that thread was about security when dealing with online wallets. I recommend using a Live Linux distro on DVD such as Ubuntu or if really paranoid, Tails. You boot from the DVD, only visit the wallet site, save anything you need to USB drive encrypted with Truecrypt and then shut down. Like an internet condom.
