Where did I go wrong in this text exchange?
So this chick adds me as a friend on Yelp, she must have read my reviews or some shit. Decent looking and what not. I decide to msg her.

Me: Damn you really like XXX local gym I can see
Her: Yeah I go a lot, but ive been hiking more outdoors nowadays
Me: Where do you usually hike
Her: XXX hiking spot off the trail
Me: Yeah XXX is alright, have you been to YYY local trail next to it?
Her: I have, is that where you go?
Me: Yee. Its chill. Im going there X day, you should come with
Her: If it didn't sound like an episode of CSI it would sound great Smile But thx for the invite

Did I not build enough attraction? My main yelp pic is a shirtless beach pic of when I was on steroids and jacked. I also have a really whimsical and vulgar writing style on my yelp reviews which get a lot of positive attention and my ex gf left several comments and stupid shit on my profile as well. I figured these were DHV enough to where trying to build anymore attraction through text would have been excessive and unnecessary.

So I kept it short and logistcal, and now i'm being accused of being a fictional serial killer from a shitty TV show.

Any input?

You pulled the trigger too early. I've been guilty of this lately and getting similar results.

Think of it like this... would you go for the number early on in a day game interaction?

Well, you could, and she'd probably give it to you, but it would most likely lead no-where.

There is no harm in taking your time to build rapport (not attraction, as that's next to impossible in this type of interaction).

Also, this is salvageable. You can flip the script on her here - agree and amplify.

You: "Got me! Damn, I had my rape cabin all set up and everything." ...or something to that effect, then proceed with further banter.

I'd go with 'murder cabin,' but yeah that's good.

Too early and a bad choice for invite. Being aggressive and direct is good but situational awareness of the interaction is critical. Doesnt matter what your pic or writing style is. Asking a girl you have never met in real life to go hiking in the woods or wherever is probably always going to get that reaction. Pyre's suggestion is the right move. Somewhere public, that way you can bounce if she is a secret internet fattie.

Yeah you guys are right. Since she was the one who brought it up I though it was a good segway. Should have thought it out better.
