Flying to a far away 3rd world city which has pretty much nothing to offer as a tourist destination, where you can only walk inside shopping malls. Coping with pollution, horrible traffic, cigarette smoke everywhere, overpriced drinks and other inconveniences. Smuggling booze in a shampoo bottle. This is how far we men are willing to go to get laid. Sometimes I wonder if it's all worth it.

Is booze really necessary in Jakarta to get laid?

I am kind of a cheap-skate when in comes to booze because I do NOT really drink very much, and I would prefer to just play around with girls without involving booze.

I mean for example day game? or are a large majority of the stunners and DTF girls at the bars/night clubs?

Alright, so I'm bumping this thread because I'm going to Indonesia again for a couple of weeks starting Feb 7.

Will be in Jakarta (Thamrin City) from Feb 7 until 15, then will decide whether to stay there for the rest of the trip or go to Bali, Gili Islands or Yogyakarta for another week.

Btw, Tinder has gotten much better in Jakarta. I already have a lot of good matches.

First of all, guys, I'll answer all your questions later.

I've been on an almost 3 day dry spell after having a good time when I just arrived. I attribute this to the jet lag and random nature of game.

I've already paid for drinks here at the club more than what I would pay for a 3 some with a couple of hookers, but we are rvfers right? We don't do hookers.

I don't know if I'll ever come back to Jakarta. Cebu treated me better, but then again, that might have been random.

I am a bit surprised about the quality on Tinder you are mentioning. Last time I used Tinder in Jakarta I saw less than a dozen of hot girls on there.

I did notice though, that Tinder changes very fast in some countries. In some countries Tinder becomes more and more popular whereas in most western countries it went to shit.

Days 3, 4 and 5.

Had 2 or 3 dates each day, can't even remember which girls exactly on which days. Mostly from tinder. It's midnight, Friday night in Jakarta, Valentines day weekend. Probably the best time of the year to go to clubs in what may be the best clubbing city for guys in the world, yet I don't feel like going out. I've had more than my fair share of girls today, so will just stay in and get some sleep.

nice work, brodiga. have you checked out any other clubs? dragonfly seems to be getting only worse, too many hungry foreigner dudes, and 30 y olds washed up girls hanging at the bar or young chino java hiso girls at tables which are jaded or high and can be a bit painful to pick up. it seems like nightlife in jakarta should be good but i have not really had that many good nights out there, something is always a bit off; wish there was a place like route 66 that delivers.

thank god you were not in the starbucks in sudirman which blew up a couple weeks ago, that used to be my date meet up point, kind of crazy to see it being the scene of a siege, although that day was not the first time a soul had been taken there...
