Sexual Awakening of the Dudebro
http://www.salon.com/2013/11/14/the_sexu...e_dudebro/

Bastion of progressivism/hamster ranch salon.com on how young guys think about sex.

This article is a collection of BS and incoherent hamsterbation like I've never seen before.

FTA:

And men can be equally terrified of it. That real sex — with an actual person! — would be intimidating to young guys who may have only been exposed to it through porn seems like common sense, but men’s feelings of vulnerability or inadequacy are almost entirely absent from the popular discourse. And since the culture is mostly silent on men’s lack of sexual education, so, too, are plenty of men.

JNF: Guys scared of sex? Serious narcissism if true.

FTA:

“We just assume that pleasure is part of it for them, but in fact they are often trying so hard. One student said to me years ago that when he has sex there is a recorder playing on repeat in his mind that says, ‘Don’t cum too soon, don’t cum too soon, don’t cum too soon.’”

JNF: Define too soon. I was ready.

FTA:

Ejaculation doesn’t always mean pleasure, Herbenick was quick to add. All men may not feel this performance anxiety, but plenty do. And talking about it can act as an important counter-narrative to the idea that guys don’t have emotional needs or don’t want to give pleasure during sex — even casual sex.

‘Your feelings can be part of that physical satisfaction. It isn’t just about ejaculation.’”

JNF: It isn't about ejaculation? Tell that to Peter North. Tell it to the girls who laugh when they get a huge load shot on them.

FTA:

“In my dream scenario the definition of sex that happens during hookups would be really broad, and I would love to see a situation where people are really asking each other, ‘What gives you the most pleasure?’,” Neustifter said. I suspect a lot of folks” — yes, even the dudebro — “really fantasize about that.”

JNF: What about your fantasies, RVF Dudebros? Here's mine:

The two hookers from the movie Full Metal Jacket are arguing over who can love Jim Norton Fan longer time. I pleasure both of them but deny them my essence, saving it for the sniper at the end of the movie. At no time during the encounter does anyone ask "What gives you the most pleasure?" You know why? Because we can tell because we're good at it. I'm good at it and so are they. I tell them and they ask me politely and it happens the way it should happen with a real man and real women.

RE: Sexual Awakening of the Dudebro
The article is a disgusting piece of contemporary cant, and the quotes about "asking each other what gives you the most pleasure" are cringe-worthy in the extreme. However, sometimes there is terrible truth even in the midst of such depravity.

Quote:“Many of my male students have said to me that they feel like the most important thing for them is to perform well, to give their partner an orgasm, somehow, almost magically,” Debra Herbenick, a research scientist at Indiana University, told Salon, noting that young men often are not encouraged to learn — or ask — what gives women pleasure. “We just assume that pleasure is part of it for them, but in fact they are often trying so hard. One student said to me years ago that when he has sex there is a recorder playing on repeat in his mind that says, ‘Don’t cum too soon, don’t cum too soon, don’t cum too soon.’”

I believe this is absolutely true. Men of all ages are obsessed with their "sexual performance" to the exclusion of virtually everything else having to do with sex. I believe that performance anxiety ruins the experience of sex for a large number of men who are so worried about having their prowess validated by some bitch that their own enjoyment of fucking her is very far from their minds.

This is all a terrible, almost tragic, misunderstanding. The point of fucking a female is to be into it and to enjoy it. Your "performance" is irrelevant. Do you worry about your "performance" when tucking into some dish of pasta with sausage? That's how much you should worry about fucking a bitch. Sometimes you savor the pasta slowly and sometimes you shove it down your throat as fast as you fucking can. So what?

There is no such thing as "premature ejaculation". Every ejaculation is timely.

Further. What men obsessed with "performance" don't understand is that nothing turns women on more than a man who acts like a pig that is only concerned with his own pleasure. Nothing. If only all men out there knew this terrible secret!

I feel bad for the millions and millions of dudes whose minds are haunted by sexual performance anxiety. It's such a simple confusion and yet it can ruin a big part of a man's whole life. What a waste.

same old shit, sixes and sevens Shaft...

@JimNorton: Consider using the "quote" tag to put your excerpts in blocks instead of your current format. It's a lot easier to read. It's just the word "quote" in brackets at the beginning, and [/quote] at the end.

Quote:Example

I think this is a good example.

Side note, dudebro is like cisgender in that anyone who says it is definitely spouting some nonsense.
