ok so headed out tonight again. feels like there is less people probably due to a little wet weather, anyhow i start the night as usual, surveying the area, nah who am I kidding, scared shitless to approach so I just sip my drink quietly for first half hour.

As you seem to concede, Ladyboy was a topic that came up in this thread (NOT by me), and being able to identify ladyboys is related to experiences that guys may have when maneuvering in Thailand and even considering such maneuvering - even though, likely and admittedly, the issue of ladyboys would be less of an issue for some guy who would be targeting tourists (like you).

Regarding the subject matter of your thread, it seems that several guys here have continued to provide you with various feedback about how to potentially bring more success, and I am also of the sense along with several of the suggestions that likely you need to be a little more flexible in your target group, and likely in that way potentially more tourist chicks may flow naturally into your direction.

So, for example, if you find some Thai chicks that are receptive to you, you can still play around with those Thai chicks for social proof in getting the attention of your intended tourist chick targets. Frequently any girls are more interested in guys who seem to have girls around him (and options available to him) rather than if girls had been considering you as being by yourself and/or NOT having options.

So in that regard, we frequently want to project to our target (whether tourist or NOT) that we have bang options in the event that she does NOT take the bait and go with me to bang. In business it is called improving your BATNA.

JJG - Unfortunately on the island ko tao there are much less local Thai girls going, and the ones that do are of low quality. In addition, the majority seem to be attracted to farangs, it seems the best way to appropriate social proof strategy would be back in bangkok or ko samui.

Although I have my own concerns with social proof, would myself hitting on Thai girls only look like to foreigners Thai with Thais? Never really thought about that in Australia as whites never usually hit the asian clubs (women exclusively).

There may be some ways to keep trying different angles, even though as some guys have already mentioned in this thread that you seem to be in a disadvantaged market in the area of DHV with the tourist girls, which potentially will take more game or something else, such as playing your asian angle with Thais rather than with white girls. Maybe you or some one else will come up with another angle for you to attempt? And sometimes the angle will come with continuing to practice, or even finding some wingmen that may help in this kind of situation - even though if you seem to be handicapping yourself by spending short periods of time in each location.

JJG - Truth be told the situations I face on the islands ko samui/tao does not feel all that different from home.
Much of the time I have to solo (that said I would find excuses to not go out, hence traveling alone, but even that was because nobody back home wanted to come with me).

I would make very little approaches, I believed the party atmosphere and the fact girls were down for cock would have been able to bridge the gap for me to get some notches. So far not very successful.

I'll continued to try to work on an angle and see if I can find a magic bullet.

While I didn't use the words 'fuck off', I'm having trouble recognising what I wrote was in the same tone. Accusatory yes, if I was pverly rude my bad.

If not, grab the ebook now and read it today. Then do some positive affirmations to get yourself in the right mindset, maybe a few shots as well, and go start approaching. I'll bluntly say what other posters are avoiding saying..

I don't understand why you thought you would have a better time in Koh Tao (basically a playground for europeans and anglos) than in Australia. I hate to say it but race does matter in some places and you have to leverage your "exotic" value in places where you are wanted. Being asian in asia simply has no exotic value and may even have significant negative social value connotations in the minds of privileged white foreign tourists. In addition Koh Tao is one of those white party bubbles in SE Asia, like Vang Vieng, Koh Phangnan, etc.. etc.. I got my diving certs at Koh Tao and enjoyed it for what it was but I was focused 100% on diving and made friends through that.

Koh Tao is still a nice place to chill out and dive but unless you fit into the swoll, tall, and white category you'll have mixed to possibly even negative reactions there from women. I have had other friends of varying non white asian and south asian ethnicities who say it's not that great unless you fit into that demographic or have some kind of social edge..ie tatted up Thai bartender or scuba instructor.

One black guy I knew there had a ball there because he could leverage that exotic factor hard in a place with mostly white european women who have never met a fly American black man before. It was like shooting fish in a barrel for him.

Some places are just like that, either play along, deal with it, or move on.

Btw, I went during low season too high season may be very different and so does the length of your stay.

I also agree with Scandibro and a couple other posters asking what the hell you are doing chasing white girls in Thailand. It's like ordering a burger at a nice steak house. There are definitely quality euro girls on holiday but the hassle and effort would be way better invested in partying, networking, and social proofing with middle/upper class Thais. You'll meet plenty of well dressed and well heeled Thai women, some great luk-kreung (hapas) as well. The quality of poon at that tier will beat any white girl on those islands, guaranteed.

Appreciate the feedback, there's no doubt this trip was badly planned and researched. Basically I looked up some datasheets, checked out other forums eg rsd, pua forums and 'thought' I got a gold mine here. Of course I wasn't thinking that the same results may be more difficult to be repeated by someone who isn't white.

I'm at Koh Phangan right now, I'd probably focus on Thai girls > white girls and see how I go, I don't like to back down but damn this shit is hard. Hope the not all the Thai girls here aren't farang chasers.

Mistakes were made and now I have to make the best of what I've got. Like I said I'm cutting time spent on Koh Phangan short and heading straight back to BKK. The problem is I have prebooked a lot of accommodation and domestic flights so making the best out of a bad situation. Different races have different success rates at different countries at different venues. Just keep that in mind and work it to your benefit or realize when the cards are stacked against you.

The islands are odd because the Thais on there are a mix of island locals or up country folk who are being paid peanuts to work there. The pool of decent Thai women is very small in those locations. Then there are the imported bar girls who staff various farang orientated nightlife venues.

OKC is not popular in Thailand. Thai love links is the most popular site by far and used by normal Thai girls. It's well worth paying for. OKC is used by mostly westernized females with a mile long laundry list of quirks and standards. OKC is mostly garbage and a waste of time in Thailand. No sensible Thai girl is going to sit down and answer 100+ OKC questions for "profile" matches anyways. Any white or asian chick that has a detailed OKC profile in Thailand of all places is bound to be lame.

Overall, I really feel you are doing this the wrong way. You should forsake all "foreign" venues and get into the mindset of where would you go as a middle/upper middle class asian/thai person. Damn I've caught a cold in bloody thailand... I almost toyed with the idea of resting up the 2 days I'm the bungalow and avoid the FMP, while getting ready for my glorious return to BKK.

ECL - Those are fair points, initially I thought my lack of measurability against the white male was simply based on dominance, energy and being able to go sexual. I thought a pilgrimage to usual Aussie party destination may help me develop these. Actually it varies. I banged 2 Thai, 2 Russian, and 1 Austrian. Also I am of a different race than you, so you have to take that into consideration. I commend you for going to a different country to try to game chicks. I would have suggest you build yourself up before going and throwing yourself right into the fray. The better way would have been to start with 5 or 6's, then work your way up in your home country. This would have build your confidence. Then come to Thailand and do what you did. Phuket is the spot if you want to meet Russian women. But with you blending in with local population it may be much harder. The way I would go is the younger Russians. They are more open to anything. This could also be their first time out of the country. So most of them just want to have as much fun as possible. Your best bet is Patong Beach. It is central to all the beaches on Phuket. For logisitical problems rent a motorbike.
Phi Phi is no more than a one or two day stop for most tourist. Most stop there and take boats out to surrounding islands. Its also more relaxed vibe.
For which place you want to go. That is decision you have to make yourself. Its the same thing with game. At the beginning you just sit there and think of words to say. How the conversation is going to go and so on.
Just make the decision quickly and go do it. Stop analyzing every aspect. You are making it more complicated than it actually it is.

Also just find a local Thai girl around and talk to her. It would build your confidence. One girl I met at a salon of all places. She ended up cutting my hair, I started chatting her up, and went out with her later that night.
Also by talking to them you build a circle by meeting there friends. Most of them work at all the resorts around the island. They will let you into the pools around there, private beaches, free drinks, major discounted tours and motorbike rentals, the list goes on.
This works better for the next time you come. You have a network. Also you have the hookup for the next time you want to game and show that girl with you a good time.

Just because you can ignore race doesn't mean others can or have any incentive to do so. Some people will also straight rub it in your face if given the chance. It's a dog eat dog world. Take advantage of it when you can and other times you just have to rethink your strategy. You can't let it affect your frame but realize that there are societal factors also beyond your control.

It's unfortunate but I think a specific hit and run trip to do pick up in Thailand at all these different places is a big mistake. The islands are activity and adventure destinations. You should go there to get involved in stuff like scuba diving, rock climbing, etc.. and consider the partying/pickup as secondary activities.

I've had the most fun and success when I just meet women in an organic way at these places.

Try and focus on the fact that you're on a tropical island paradise too. Don't go into it with an attitude of '8 WHOLE days on Phi Phi, oh no!'...think about how many people around the world would kill for 8 days there, with or without getting laid.

It might sound stupid but if you place emphasis on things other game your game will probably improve because:

a) you'll be less focused on getting laid (women are great at smelling desperation when you appear to only be out for one thing)
b) you'll be in a much better frame in general, way more positive, and this will show
c) more places to meet girls outside of bars
d) you'll have better memories of it for yourself later in life

But do still go out at night and hit on everything that moves....just try and make it part of the overall package, not your only goal!

I don't particularly like blogging. It's made $100 the past month. Traffic has been averaging 50 per day, more than when I actually wrote on it. I've been getting quite a few emails asking for advice as well.

So last night was Fullmoon party, I caught up with JJ1up who's a cool cat, massively chill and charismatic.

We hit the FMP together and straight up got opened by a trio of british chicks, all quite hot. I was quite interested in the asian/white hybrid but probably did not build enough interest as the last friend (third wheel) had no one to talk to and dragged them all away.

Rest of the night had us all round town from looking for the weed guy to hanging out with these other Americans from Singapore, cool people.

Through the night I tried a range of weird openers such as tapping girls, using the 'where the fuck do you think you're going' etc. Some worked, others not so well.
I had to bail around 5 because of the afternoon boat ride back to BKK, but effectively had a great time partying on Koh phangan.

I did have one regret where a girl was visibily interested in me but my american friend kept engaging her so i stepped off the plate. Looking back i should have just gone for it.
