Well I messed up today was my actual 300th approach:

I go direct about 1/3 of the time. Many times I do go indirect and switch over to direct if I am feeling it instead of playing out a long conversation. When I am rusty such as this case, I did not switch to direct which I had a huge positive opening to. I have been rusty lately.

Ok so the 1 approach a day is actually a ton I wanted to get 1.5k apprapches this year, I am barely averaging 1 a day. It takes energy and dedication to consistently approach.

I always think I am towards the end of the rabbit hole of game and new strange thing happen.

I have set up my own bang recipe after experimenting with many venues here in SB.
