I was in Kiev last year for two weeks around August. I rented a cool apartment which wasn't too expensive. It had a hot tub, flat screen and fast wifi so it was ideal for my needs, can't remember the name of the agency though.

I hit up the internet beforehand to get some local leads, this worked really well and I actually had the problem that I had too many girls that were ready to meet up and show me around.

In hindsight I would've spent more time on this, narrowed the girls down a little to the hotter ones and tried to escalate more before meeting them.

Because of this lack of quality control I did waste some time meeting with girls that weren't as attractive as I first thought, one that looked like an edgy cool alternative chick in her pics looked like a young boy in real life! One thing I would say of all the girls I met is that they were all really friendly and fun to hang out with, there was no Russian coldness or gold digging going on.

I did try some daygame at the beginning but because I was used to doing this in English speaking countries it didn't go so well, I usually have a more low key approach and get into a bantering type conversation which doesn't work great when they don't speak much English.

Near the end I thought I shouldn't have given up on this so easily and thought I'd give it another go. This time I headed to the main street which is where all the action is at certain times of the day when the weather is good. I dressed really well, was more direct and pretty quickly I got the number of a smokin babe. She was the hottest girl I'd met whilst there and she was ready to meet late the next day but unfortunately I had to take a flight so I couldn't see her again.

So if I went again I'd work a little more on the online just to filter it down and then hit up the daygame because there are loads of attractive girls around and it shouldn't be too hard to get a lot of possibilities that way, I can't comment on the clubs as I didn't hit them up.

One other thing the amount of luxury cars around is ridiculous, every other car is some blacked out Benz or BMW, I can't think of anywhere else where I've seen so many luxury cars in one place.

@Jalouse - what online site did you use to meet Ukrainians, and also, how were you able to identify fake profiles form agency scams as oppose to genuine ones? Did you just risk it or did you actually have a filtering process?


I notice that most Ukrainians are fluent in Russian, so I decided to start taking Russian lessons, and tutoring to prepare for my trip in Spring 2011.

Did you get a chance to visit Odessa? I keep hearing that Odessa is the better bet of the two (Kiev or Odessa).

I used couchsurfing, I really didn't spend a lot of time on it. I just took about 30 minutes sending out the same mail to a bunch of girls and then just from this half an hour I'm sure I had about 20 chicks saying they'd like to meet up. I think all of them were genuine from those that replied.

All of these girls had decent English so this wasn't a problem, the hottie I met on the street had a more passable level of English but it was still enough to have a conversation.

I didn't go to Odessa so I can't comment about that.

Ok, after doing an enormous amount of research and preparation for Ukraine, I have decided to postpone my trip to Ukraine until August 2011 for 2 very good reasons:

1. The weather! I'm from Miami, and I cannot take temps below freezing, so summer is the best time to go from what I have learned.

2. However, my decision to go in August was a no brainer once I read this article about the annual debauchery in Ukraine know as Kazantip:

According to hearsay, it very much depends on whether you speak Russian. While there are some foreigners, a lot of them come as couples or established groups, and they tend to party separately, making it even harder.

Hey Mixx,

I would skip Kiev if you are going in August. A lot of the women end up at their dacha's (summer house) or on vacation somewhere like Odessa or Crimea.

If you hit Odessa then you will need to hit Arcadia. Beach, outdoors clubs and some restaurants ( I wouldn't eat at).

I lived in Odessa for a year and a half. Unfortunately, I wasted it living with one girl. I am planning on getting back there to really experience it. The girls are spoiled in Odessa and have been known to be players. If they order freshly squeezed orange juice then leave. haha

While i have never been to Ukraine, some of the most fun hottest girls i have ever met were from there. One of my close friends is ridiculously hot, and i met her at a police station of all places, and is a really passionate, easy going, fun to talk to chick. If i had a chance i would stop by there on my next euro trip, maybe sometime this year if i can find the time.

Also isnt there like a party island which is pretty much one big party run by former mob members claiming to be its own country or something off the coast?　I　heard about it from some people a long time ago, like a visa to the place is like 50 bucks (cover).

I've never been there, but it is north of Yevpatoria (nearest town - 100k population) in Popovka (village). I'm interested in taking a yacht there, perhaps in 2012, as the accommodations in Popovka is said to be poor with Yevpatoria being better but farther away.

Odessa is said to be a good place for nightlife. I remember finding an advertisement on the internet a few years back from a French guy offering his "wingman" services in Odessa. It seems to be like Ibiza without the high costs and without the mediterranean vibe. I really should visit that place this summer. Let's maybe do a meet-up?

It seems they are 3:1 girls ratio everywhere you go. They ALL have thin bodies, basically I didnt see a single one that i wouldnt hit it. But the faces are more strong looking, so thats where you need to search a little to find a model like figure.

First night I went out, 2 girls were rubbing on each of my legs like it was absolutely normal. I kissed one of them, but the other one was still sticking to me trying to get some.
All the young girls (20s) live with their parents. So you absolutely need an appartment.

Also this is still winter here, so Kiev is good because university is going on. During summer, young people go away on countryside or in Odessa for example.

One thing I remember about Russia was how terrible girls moved on the dance floor. I concluded it was because they didn't have the bodies to move sexy.
