Absolutely true. I know one home-schooling family that has ten children. The two eldest daughters act like mom's 2 and 3. Combined with two active parents, they manage the large family quite well.

I would say that many of you might be okay. Just keep an eye on your T levels and stay in decent shape.

If you were a college athlete, pro, or amatuer for many years throughout your entire 20's, you might struggle a little bit. It's just like how some of my coworkers older than me can go out and do triathlons on the weekends. I can barely bike 20 miles now. I have all kinds of aches and pains all the time. Concussion issues concern me as well. I knew the longer I waited the worse it would get. So far I was correct.

If you think about the rugged men that built the railroads, the dams, the various mines, logged trees, etc. in the past, they were in the same boat as I am. You really did not want to wait if you worked hard like that for a living. They also had more traditional women, but still they had bad knees and backs around 50-60. Back then you could retire around that age so it kinda worked out for them.

I'm in my 50s and will likely still be a father some day. In exchange she'll have a nice and comfortable home and will not need to work while the children are young because she's married to an excellent provider. As the children get older I can retire early because I've been saving since my 20s and have never been divorced raped. I will have the time and energy then to throw myself into fatherhood duties full time and without distraction.

I do it the same way and it works well so far. I really do not think men are naturally good at doing those things. It's too easy to get frustrated with those screams and crying. Drives me nuts just hearing it. If I had to actually change the diapers all the time I would want to scream myself. I remember seeing some show a long time ago about the brains of men and women while a baby screamed. Women's brains went into protect mode and changed color, while a man's brain showed anger and frustration.

Regardless of all of that, I still change the diapers every now and then to help out. My kid is 2 and in the "Terrible 2's" phase and screams at/fights grandmother/wife on the changing table but stops immediately when I walk in. Laughing while looking at me. Irritating because I have to stop working at my desk, but it is what it is..... It's always something silly you did not think about, that will cause you to get involved.

On the flip side, little stuff like that makes you realize why single mothers struggle so much, and makes you appreciate that you won't have those problems by making your presence felt and maintain order.

While there's exceptions to every rule, I haven't met many 'stay at home dads' who aren't complete cuck pansies who's skank career wife probably sleeps with half the HS football team behind his back.

Jesus Christ guys, take your arguments elsewhere. This is "The MikeCF appreciation thread", not "The should men change diapers thread".

I never spent much time on D&P, my limited time on the computer was usually spent on ROK and RVF. What a mistake that was. I went back the other day and read a bunch of old articles on D&P. The man is a genius.

I recently started listening to his podcasts while driving. I needed something masculine to mix in with the beta BiggerPockets podcasts. I'm only 5 shows in but Mike and Jay are outstanding. My workouts have already improved immensely by focusing on not using momentum and perfecting my form. I also plan to study HIT training.

I ordered Gorilla Mindset and can't wait to read it. I added his top ten recommended books on the side bar to my Amazon shopping list too.

Keep up the excellent work Mike.

I'm going through Danger and Plays archives at the moment and Christmas has come early for me! Holy shit, it's a gold mine of knowledge by a man who has lived for younger guys who are trying to live. I love his honesty the most, stuff just oozes out his posts. Much respect.

Wise decision. I've been reading Mike's stuff since 2009 and the Crime and Federalism days. If you have some free time, go back and read the archives from that blog -- they are excellent. Mike has actually lived life and understands internet posturing vs actually living in the world. ROK writers -- not so much.

Most striking point of all, if you've met Mike, this is exactly how he presents himself in 1 on 1 scenarios. D&P meetup in 2014 or Syndicated News Show, came guy and persona. That says something.

Whether Mike's conduct was on purpose or genuine.
He definitely set himself apart from the other four.
A bit wooden?
Maybe.
Yet definitely not disingenuous.
He definitely didn't come across as trying to play the part of a TV personality.
Or to fit some sort of preconceived mould
Stating "we" instead of "I" & the like, for similar reasons to Trump.

He may also have been a bit more jovial, had the other four not constantly talked about him as if he was an outsider.

I've met Mike now in NYC, Cleveland, and DC and in person he's just as sharp and genuine. Hope he continues to capitalize on the exposure and fame while spreading common sense ideas and shutting down the opposition. If you guys haven't bought his book and have personal goals / lifestyle objectives you are not meeting, or even if you are already, I do recommend it.

Mike did great but they didn't give him as much speaking time as the CIA guy. It was obvious too - the spook would give a short speech about the topic, then Andy would tell Mike he has 10 seconds to give his thoughts.

I think it was Trump's rise that drew him back to America. He has floated the idea of running for Congress (as well as leadership of the Conservative Party of Canada).
