Noob question/observation. I've heard this said a few times, maybe here maybe some other pua blogs or books, about women: "Leave her better than you found her". Basically "fuck her good". But the thing is, a woman who has sex with a lot of guys is a little worse off after each time. It doesn't matter to a man if the guys who came before him fucked her good or not. As her number goes up, her market value goes down.

What am I not understanding? Is it just something guys tell themselves to feel better about the women they've dropped from their rotation or after having a one night stand? Anyway, it strikes me as a sort of male hamster logic.

That idea is old school White Knight Pick Up Artistry.

The idea was that once you learned pick up, you could run through a bunch of chicks, many of whom would form actual feelings for you and would be heart-broken after you pumped them and dumped them.

So in practice this meant before you fucked her and after you fucked her you engaged in "Expectation Management"

On the front end - you'd come at her as fun loving guy, a charming rogue, a man who could not be tamed....but she'd get a good 15 minutes of Alpha, and she'd be happy with just that.

On the back end - Almost immediately after you fucked her you framed the situation as
- I can't believe that just happened
- YOU totally seduced me
- That was awesome

The idea is that she would buy into it just happening, or she was the seducer, or it was just a bunch of fun - the meta-idea is that the sex was only physical.

Where i'm from, we call this, "blaming it on the alcohol".

The Red Pill/modern/dark triad way of looking at this is that women unconsciously or consciously want to control how the reality of the events between you is perceived, and she wants the version of reality to be one that serves her interests.

So our response, although similar in methodology to the above, is explicitly about serving OUR VERSION of reality.

Naw, the game wasn't that dark back in the early 00's.

The whole leave her better than you found her started way before Game got any mainstream notoriety. This was the days of ToeCutter and Ross Jeffries, were NLP was "The Tool", when the only place to find this information was on alt.seduction.fast. Pre-dates Style and Mystery.

Men of the late 90's felt that women were delicate creatures and if you fucked them and bounced, they'd be emotionally hurt.

They weren't wrong, but they hadn't swallowed the red pill.

I see it more this way:

* Becoming a better version of myself, a more social person, a more successful person, a better organized and more driven person benefits not only me, but the people around me as well.

* If I choose to bring a girl in my life (or a person really) I don't use them. I don't need to use anyone, my value is sourced from the internal not the external and it is self-renewing/replenished. Sure, I get value from other people, but my value to them is also great.

* Seeing other people succeed or having their lives improved in part due to the value I give them makes me happy. Their success motivates me, it doesn't make me jealous.

* A great aspect of having women benefit from you is that when they leave your world they realize how much they miss you and that value even despite not liking that you're dating other girls

* I will never again be a doormat, but I'll never stop being a nice guy to people that deserve it. I've made friends and had experiences that I never would have if not for my willingness to help others that have shown they deserve it.
