I just saw my buddy's gf do this just now so I started thinking about it.

What's the psychology behind this? Is this a non-issue? Or a red flag? If this is a red flag, how serious?

I suppose it depends on who the other guy is and what they were doing. Was it her brother and were they at a family reunion? Was it an ex-boyfriend and they were at a club?

Yes highly disrespectful and a huge red flag, I'm not into "facebook", don't have a page, but if I was your friend and caught wind of this it would be grounds for dumping her. As stated before the only real exception would be for a family member, or a gay friend, in which case it's a non-issue in my opinion.

Serious red flag dude, girl is disrespecting her man, big time
This kind of behaviour happened me a few years ago when I was going through tough times with a girlfriend
She was staying with me for a few days and the b1tch didn't wear a bra and threw on a very low cut and flimsy t-shirt during her time staying in my place, so as to advertise herself and her rack to my housemates, she was pretty much saying 'hey guys, imma bout to ditch this loser, come get some'
When I challenged her on this carryon, she claimed I was being paranoid and possessive, she also had a whorish background so in retrospect, it's not that surprising
But yeh, I disgress, red flag, chick ain't worth his time, definitely grounds for 'nexting' her
