OP, congrats on making some big changes in your life. Unfortunately, you seem to be skipping steps. Most of those PUA bootcamp series strike me as the blind leading the blind, and they are essentially just running game on their customers. Maybe I am dead wrong, I've never taken a bootcamp. But I doubt it.

someone suggested you just take a vacation instead. I like that idea. or just put on a suit and hang out with gmanifesto as hotwheels suggested.

Throughout this thread, several of us have made these kinds of suggestions that OP find a better use for his $1,300; however, OP seems determined to spend his $1,300 - ish for what seems to be this wast of money bootcamp idea.

I've heard this argument before...
"Why not just go out to enjoy yourself, who cares if you get women or not."

1.) "You play to win the game." If you go out to meet, get the phone numbers and eventually fuck women...than do that. Look at the majority of guys in a nightclub...a big portion of them are just standing around, not talking to girls, not dancing....just conversing with their boys. They are "acting" like they are enjoying themselves while they secretly desire some of the hottest poon in the place but

2.) window shopping is either motivation to achieve greater heights or acceptance to living life at a lower tier with no plan to ascend to higher tiers. And the irony of the people at these lower tiers is that they rationalize that they are comfortable at this tier yet obviously envious (or hopeful) of higher tiers or they wouldnt be window shopping. do you see millionaires window shopping in the hood? And how this comes to the club/night life is that you get some guys who say they come to have fun and just LOOK and interact with the women but they clearly want to fuck, or at least have the chance to fuck these women. But they rationalize their status as a lower tiered male and say something like "man im just here to have fun and enjoy the atmosphere"

3.) Coffee is for closers. Results matter. and people who are afraid of results or hate to face reality reframe results by saying they dont matter. No they do. And the good thing about being a man is that you can improve on your results. You can work out, acquire money and at bare minimum bang hot chicks off of lifestyle game created with your money. But some guys are to chicken shit to even attempt improving their lifestyle so what do they do...they window shop, they act like going out is not about fucking women, and they tell themselves life is ok at this tier

I was thinking about this topic and I really don't get how someone can even think about paying THREE THOUSAND DOLLARS to "learn game", actually I don't even understand how "pickuping girls" is SO important for some people.

As other guys stated, with 3.000 dollars you could do so much more for yourself, and that is not even counting the money to fly and stay in London for a while.

I've been reading this forum for a while and some ideas are interesting and I try to apply what I find useful, but my motivation in life is FAR from being banging most chicks as possible.

My advice, if I'm in a position to give any, is that everyone should be content and learn to live by yourselves and love yourselves, go for the things that are really important ( apart from "pussy" ), develop your mind, develop your body, turn yourself in a virtuous person with a lot of good qualities, in other words, do what really matters, if you can bang some chicks on the way is fine, if you find someone that you really love is even better, I've been hearing a lot that all girls are not worthy etc, but I've been thinking and I guess we should be doing this for ourselves, we should perfect ourselves and if someone can recognise that give value, perfect, if it doesn't happen, their loss, we did the right thing to do.

Anyway, this is my second post so I guess what I want to say is that I don't like "game", I like to be myself and for sure I'm not the one who fucks more girls in this planet, but I can say I'm a really happy person and for sure I have a lot to improve, but never for the others or for a silly motivation like fucking more girls, but improving in things that matter like becoming a more fulfilled human being, this way all the rest comes by itself, that's my experience in life.

I paid money for a bootcamp 5 years ago, I didn't pay thousands, I didnt even pay hundreds, the guy who trained me is one of my bromigos and the other is one of the best daygamers in the world. I needed that kick up my ass, I hadn't even heard of pickup/game when I took the course, I just googled how to pick up women and now it's led to me being here and being like how I am, I was useless with girls. I'm glad I took that weekend course and I'd do it again if I was in the same situation.

You are coming out blasting and seeming to be overly judgmental of guys in this forum, and maybe you should tell us a little bit more about yourself before you start to denigrate others in broad and general ways.

Guys in this forum share a lot of information about themselves b/c they are generally of the belief that they are talking with guys of similar motivations, interests and testosterone drives. ... but we cannot talk with broad strokes, either, b/c even though many guys on this forum share interest in banging and gaming girls, guys on this forum also vary considerably in terms of age, life experiences and life expectations.

Guys in this forum have a lot of motivations besides banging girls, so I would NOT be so hasty as to make a broad generalization to define all guys here and to suggest that you are above such fray.

Some guys chose to bang early in life and often, and other guys chose to pursue careers and to bang and game less frequently. Some guys do NOT realize their potential for game until later in life, and other guys never explore such options. Here, we discuss and consider a lot of variety in views, and frequently, guys disagree.

If you, personally, are missing some motivation and/or incentive to game and/or bang girls, then you may want to consider yourself as well.

Like you said, since you have only posted twice, we do NOT have much information about you (your age, your life experiences, etc). Your post comes off as overly judgmental without really adding much value to suggest how your "advice" to us would be applicable to the lives of guys in this forum - unless you are trying to persuade us all to become girls or girl-like?

On a serious note, sure we should all work on being happy - but you cannot dictate what makes other people happy. It is ok if you don't like game, not everyone has to. But the OP seems interested in learning more about game. The buys are suggesting better ways to get results through game is all. Thinking that maybe 1,300 is better spent in a different way to learn game. Start a I don't like game thread if you want. I am getting a white knight vibe, or some sleeper troll that waited a little while before posting. Hopefully, you are not a 300lb fat chick.

The day has come. I was in London and today I was taking the first major step to change my life forever. I watched videos of these two guys (Tom Torrero and Jon Matrix) on Youtube and I really liked what they did.

I met Jon Matrix at a tube station. My first impression of the man was: he had a pleasant personality, strong facial features and warm smile. “This guy didn’t need game to get girls”- I thought to myself I’ve met PUA gurus before and the majority of them were good looking guys with some sort of personality flaws. As it turned out later so did Jon! He was an introvert who was making an effort to be more social.
He put me at ease right away by inviting me to sit down and chat about my background and what I want to achieve today. We talked about my goals for about 30 min while drinking tea with milk at a cozy coffee shop. I told him I had pretty serious approach anxiety and that I haven’t cold approach on the street at all recently. I asked questions about the bootcamp and he was very upfront about what to expect. He set my expectations low – the bootcamp is the first step at getting good at approaching during the day and I will need to practice everyday to get good at it! I was expecting that so no surprises here. I needed a kick in the ass from a professional!
I got hooked up with a wireless mic so he could hear me and I could hear him if I wanted. It was raining outside so we decided to go to an upscale shopping mall to practice approaching.
I should also mention that I took L-theanine that morning to help me with AA and it was working wonderfully- I wasn’t nervous at all. The bad news – it only works for me for a few days and then I develop tolerance to it and it stops working for a month.
I have watched daygame videos for a while now and knew how to approach using their method. I asked Jon to demonstrate so I can see it live and also it was easier for me to just watch him do it first. He did one approach but the girl didn’t hook, on the second try he talked to a nice 8 and she hooked hardcore. I’ve seen good interactions before – but this was really smooth and natural interaction! This is magical – I thought to myself! I was the next. I picked the hottest girl I could find ( she could be a 9+) since I am officially now good with women and ran towards her!
“Excuse me, can I say something really quick?”-I said while I stood right in front of her. “I saw you walking by and thought you looked very nice! You must be French or Italian?”- I delivering the line. “I’m 16” – she said….I almost brought up the fact that 16 is the age of consent in the UK and that I didn’t mind ..but retrieved while mentally complimenting myself on my own good taste in women. Jon could hear everything and suggested I also pay attention to their age before I approach.
I approached several more women but nothing really hooked. The rain has stopped and I wanted to get some fresh air and do street approaches. We went outside.People were rushing around, walking fast with determination,nothing like at the mall. I got anxious a bit. I asked Jon to do an approach and as usual- the girl stopped and hooked hardcore! Wow…I said! My turn was next. I don’t even remember who I approached or how many…but I didn’t manage to hook any sets. Everyone was in a hurry with a boyfriend.
This was my first day in London, looking back at that day I haven’t even realized how the culture is so different from where I am from in America. Women didn’t even stop when I tried to talk to them, many would say they have a boyfriend two seconds into my spiel, most were in a such hurry that I felt uncomfortable to step in front of them. After two hours of approaching I had zero numbers and no girl would stay and talk to me. It was lunch time.
We had lunch at daygame HQ as Jon called it. An apartment near Oxford St- the main shopping street in London. He had several roommates . Dinky is the word to describe the place. The place was trashed – how could any girl come here I wondered? But Jon assured me they get laid like Rock Stars! Who are these kids I wondered and how did they convince me to shell out over a thousand dollars for a “bootcamp”?
After lunch we went back to Oxford St. It was getting much colder and people seemed to move even faster. Their faces reflected busy, fast paced London lifestyle. Jon was recording my approaches this time. I asked him to start me off and do the first approach. The set hooked but not for too long,still he was impressive! I ran after a girl and got pretty cold reaction, then another and another and more. After each approach I got feedaback – mostly stating the obvious. I already knew what I did wrong. After reading PUA materials for many years I became an expert on pickup. The problem was that I would forget all the rules and play it by ear on every approach. I was improving however.There were many other approaches and I got tons of feedback. It was difficult to master everything in one day but the structure was explained to me in great detail- I just needed to practice! At the end of the day we reviewed the footage at daygame HQ.
Seeing myself doing approaches did more for me than words. I could see right away everything I did wrong. I think this is a very effective tool to get better.The first day of the bootcamp was over and I went home somewhat satisfied. I did approach on one of the busiest street in Europe! I got no numbers or even good sets but I did it!

Sounds like one big advertisement for TT and JM.

I have a sense for the story and where it is going.

Here goes: You are afraid to approach, and the training involves you approaching while you pay them a $3000 fee. Thereafter, you are approaching, they are video taping and giving you feedback... and in the end you are going to improve and to start to "hook" like they do, and you could NOT have done it without the "kick in the ass" assistance from their feedback. Thereafter, you will start your own blog about how to pick up girls - how you sucked and improved yourself with some effort. Maybe I am wrong, but that is where i see it going, and guys here have said you are wasting your money and your time, but you are going to post some more to show that you were improved by this.

Good job!
But although you will get better, isn't it possible that your coach is very attractive so he of course will hook quickly? He probably doesn't need game for that. If your average or less experienced I think advice on here to try in EE or SEA would be better. Personally I think the numbers wouldwork in your favor someplace other than NYC,London or Miami. You seem to like hunting in most competitive areas when you yourself avoid/dislike competition.
Also you mention older women like you. Originally I got the idea you were 18-25 then you admitted you are late 30's. You do realize that in the west the average 18-25 girl avoids guys close to 40 unless 1. hes a hunk 2 looks young. If you hate girls your age and insist on 16-22 year olds I think London is going to be HARD. Most of western world will be HARD. Also a guy your age won't be as tolerated in a youth orientated hostel as much as younger guys. More lifestyle upgrade is expected from older gents usually.....especially in ANGLO land. Just some 2 cent observations.

Oh I have nothing against Bojangles. But I already paid for the bootcamp with daygame and everything was scheduled. Then I get a PM literally days before offering me another bootcamp from someone I don't even know. At least I watched daygame videos for a year and found their style very close to what I want. I'm sure you understand my skepticism.
There is day two in the story that I am writing up. So who ever thinks this will be an advertisement for daygame will see it is not.
The first day rocked! I approached hot girls in London and I am in my late 30's with approach anxiety! The mission was accomplished!

Next stop is Kiev Ukraine and then Moscow.

Stop watching day game videos. Stop trying out routines. Stop thinking there is a certain method to increase success.

Just get out there and approach. You don't need to pay someone to teach you how. It's a primal desire as a man to want women, and that's the only motivation you need.

Just get out there, do between 20-100 approaches and track how things went wrong and how you could have done better. Who cares if you only get 1 number in a few dozen approaches?

Shock your system. You will learn and adapt. Maybe you get told to piss off and you get no numbers your first 30 approaches.

But your next 30, you get a few numbers and maybe a date or two.

And then you get your first lay from day game.

At that point you can stop counting approaches, and learn to make quality a priority over quantity for approaches.

Until you shock your system through approaching and figuring out things on your own, you won't be in a good position to start making some quality progress.

A mentor, watching videos, reading blogs is helpful, but also detrimental when you are in the beginning stage of game. There is a tendency to digest too much information and not act enough.

The night before I couldn’t get any sleep. Adrenaline was left over in my blood and wouldn’t let me calm down and get much needed sleep. I got maybe two hours of sleep in the hostel but got myself out of bed ,had breakfast, took a shower and got ready to do it all again.
I realized I forgot to take L-theanine on the way to meet Jon . Well..I thought,let me see if I can do this without help. After all I did over 10-15 approaches yesterday so it’s gotta be easier today!
On the second day I was suppose to warm with a few approaches and then push for instadates. That was the plan at least. After a brief tea and toast in a coffee shop, we were on Oxford St. again. I felt anxious – I had to do more today! I approached a girl – boyfriend, another – she had to run. I was getting pissed mentally at daygame guys! Everyone on Oxford was in a hurry and stopping even for a minute to talk to a stranger who stepped in front of them didn’t make much sense to me. Why couldn’t we be in a park or a mall I thought to myself. But I trusted Jon,after all, experience always wins- there’s had to be a reason to do it on Oxford St! My enthusiasm from the day before left me. I felt Jon was getting frustrated with me. We walked into a department store and I attempted to game there. Did two approaches – both had boyfriends.
Another thing I must mention is that English culture and the language is a bit different .English phrases offered by Jon had to be modified…for an American. Instead of Excuse me –they used “sorry”. My “Excuse me” was a que for them to move away – not to stop.
“It may sound a little cheeky” was replaced with “I know it’s a bit random”.
Many girls I approached didn’t speak good enough English in the first place- but were more friendly then British .The initial instinct if for a girl on Oxford St. is to move around people. If I had to run a bootcamp- I would do it in a park or a place where people stop and relax. It was time for lunch and regroup. I still had zero numbers or even long interactions.
I met Sam in daygame HQ – he didn’t really say much. He commented on daygame approach to training : “Sink or swim”! As someone who does training for a living I think this type of approach is just stupid. You throw someone in the ocean who can’t swim and is afraid of water in the first place and you think they will start swimming? That’s how I felt on Oxford today. Thrown in the sea of people with no real preparation, only one guy listening and video recording me…sinking.
I think after lunch I did only 3 approaches. I was done. They say motivation comes from success – and I had none! During the whole time I had not one interaction that had potential. No interest at all. I set on the bench feeling depressed. Jon saw it and realized I was done for the day. He proposed we get some tea or coffee. I agreed. It was clear – the bootcamp was over.
In the coffee shop we ordered our food and looked around the place, there were some girls but Jon said logistics were bad. I thought to myself – maybe all he can do is approach on the streets? I had no problem “gaming” inside a coffee shop. He wasn’t interested. Soon after, a girl walks in, orders her food and sits by herself. I was intrigued by her face plus I wanted to talk to someone like a Norman human being, so I went over and invited her to join us. She came over, I moved another table next to us and we started talking. Jon seemed to be surprised I was able to do this.
She was beautiful in non conventional sense. Kind of short but cute, and she had amazingly beautiful eyes. Her name was D. She was from Bahrain, and was visiting her friend in London. I felt no anxiety talking to her. She projected welcoming warmth. Conversation was flowing. She was asking me all kinds of questions- I really felt we made a connection! A crazy thought went through my mind – what if everything leading to this moment was on purpose. How can a good looking guy like me with great personality not be able to meet women? Perhaps some force out there was keeping me from being a male whore? Was she the one? We finished eating and D had to go meet her friend. I suggested we meet tomorrow and just have a walk around Thames River, see the sights. She loved that idea and we exchanged numbers. I called on her phone to make sure everything works and she got it. We parted with the biggest smile on our faces.
I never saw D again. I texted her next morning and called the day after – no reply!
I felt God is fucking with me. Why does this have to be so hard!?

Do I regret taking the bootcamp – absolutely not! It was on my bucket list. I did it and now I have a check mark. Jon showed me it was possible to consistently have good sets. It wasn’t all looks – he had this charm and dominance in his interactions with women! I wish it wasn’t that expensive. I wish I had a friend like Jon Matrix.

An unexpected turn of events, OP goes ROGUE..... Deviates from the guidance of the trainer, and discovers that he has some dormant positive qualities that may have come out b/c of the boot camp, and then OP is training the trainer. Hehehehe... so funny, and OP did NOT even request for his money back. Good business for bootcamps.

This may be called Stockholm syndrome. OP loves his trainer, even though the trainer may have provided NO value beyond what OP could have provided for himself.

Ok so what did you actually learn?
You never mention what mr matrix taught you or said you did wrong.
Personally the only thing yOu did odd was do it in London and probably much younger gals than socially common in London.
