I don't know if he is necessarily white knighting. He wants to keep his job so he has to do a legitimate investigation of every claim, but, just the way he says "you can view that picture and certainly suggest that a sexual assault may have taken place. It could also suggest other things." makes me think he doesn't believe this was a rape but he can't just come out and say it on the 6 o'clock news. If he did he would be burned at the stake by feminists and the liberal media.

I actually have more respect for the dude involved after watching that. There are people trolling him every couple seconds (how could they not?) and he just agrees and amplifies all the way through.

I notice the face blur thing to and I immediately got angry. His face should be blurred and since this was a "sex act" the actions should be blurred also. The station should have a FCC complaint filed against it. The station is incompetent or baiting here. They knew the story has nothing unless it's sationalized as that means showing it all in the video, but how could they not be stupdntonnlurr out the act, that's rookie shit.

The articles I read cherry picked his words. I think that is why people are seeing him as white knighting.

Realistically, the people video taping this are fucking assholes. I think its sick that when any type of controversial event takes place (vicious beatings, outdoor sex between people you don't know, terrorist attacks, your ugly daughter's dance recital, etc.) the first thought that enters the heads of most people with a smart phone is "i wonder how many likes this will get when I post it to facebook..."
