It's pretty wild to me how these type of outlets would hate on Roosh so hard. I would expect backlash from more traditional news sources, not social media age ones. I was most surprised by the Vice article. I thought Vice was a place full of badass dudes who don't give a fuck. Pretty disheartening.

There was a fundamental change in the composition and psychology of "Anonymous" around at the beginning of 2008 when it launched its campaign against Scientology. IRL protests and a cause-based mentality became much more prevalent then, and continues today.

Vice's co-founder Shane Smith got bit by the "let's go big" bug. He wasn't content with keeping Vice small and focused, so he made moves to make it more of a traditional news outlet. The recent deal with Fox (http://adage.com/article/the-media-guy/f...ar/243726/ ) confirms this. Now they need as many eyeballs as possible, so you will see articles that could be easily confused for a Gawker or Jezebel piece:

Vice was somewhat interesting in its early days, when it was more of a counter-culture outlet. In fact, one of the early co-founders of Vice, Gavin McInnes, is a right-wing libertarian:

Murdoch is classic for buying into things right after they peak and loosing money. Vice may have just done that.

Yeah sheer ignorance because they couldn't do more research beyond googling "pickup artist".

Whether they realize it or not more and more dudes are learning game. In a city like Toronto, there are so many dudes into pickup that a lot of these girls who claim that they can't be "negged" into bed have probably slept with dudes into pickup. Statistically its pretty likely.

Red pill/ pickup is starting to get more and more common. Hell, I see red pill terminology being dropped in an Aussie uni page(my friend goes there so I joined their facebook page to check out the talest). Terms like "misandry" being dropped by guys in comments and getting likes.
