...good old times of internet dating are gone, in 2005 I used Hi5 with a response rate of more than 25%. In the last years virtually all the sites were invaded by fake profiles, advertising etc. The respnse rate went down to under 1% even then I canot guarantee they were real. Often behind several profiles seems to be the same operator (the similarity of reactions, language, expresions), just to keep the site alive.
I stil cannot understand fully the reasons behind all this fenomenon. One cand be the comercialisation of free dating sites. They are making money out of advertising...so they need as many cliks as possible. I don t count here the usual nigerian and ex-soviet skam profiles designed to milk money from sukers.

Is it just me or can you not search http://www.latinlovesearch.com by city? You have to browse an entire country just to find some in your city of interest? Now that's pathetic! there has to be something I'm missing because there can't be a dating site that leaves out cities since countries are too broad to do anything. Who heard of a site where you can't search by city?

I think he's taking issue with the site message when it's so commonly used by a dating site by so many (see the famous thread on this very site). It's basically telling the Beta's to be careful of "reckless eyeballing" women better than they are.
