This is it exactly. Samuel L. Jackson is in a similar situation - he met his wife early on (she's also an actor), and she rode with him through his drug addiction issues, etc. A few years ago there was a rumor being spread around that Denzel's marriage was in trouble due to him cheating, but it ended up fading away because they're still together. If either of them dabbled, they did it on the low, and kept their families intact. I think it helps that neither really hangs around the Hollywood scene. They work and go back home.

Never knew/heard about but then I don't follow entertainment news closely. It's funny if true because anytime his pic is posted on a "news" site (usually shirtless) there are a ton of female comments saying "OMG his wife is so lucky!"

I think a lot of attractive guys without game end up with these shrews because of the affection and jealousy game these chicks show.

All of theatre/film is filled with narcissists who just need/desire constant attention so they find someone who gives them that, while they may go fuck on the side.

I don't care what anybody say's.A woman that sticks by a man's side in the "lean" years is hard to come by.Hell a lot of those famous or successful types might not have been so famous or successful without those not so attractive women by their side.Not having to hunt for sex and companionship allows certain types of men to focus on more important things.All that being said anybody who get's rich AND THEN goes and wifes up some frumpy broad deserves to get talked about.If I ever managed to find myself on the hollywood "A-List" I'd be banging the absolute baddest bitches the world has to offer.

It always surprised me that Hugh Jackman had been with his bitch for years back, but there's something to be said for being in a committed relationship with a good woman.

I think also his generation in Oz is more traditional, very different from the people growing up in Oz now. Men were men, friendly and loyal to their friends and even their partner.

He seems like a happy guy.

Newsflash, Not all celebs are these awesome attractive men, they just happened to be known for their work...

I've seen countless celebs who simply SUCK with women such as a basketball player who literally was on some "Blow me or blow me out...Ima burn the venue to the ground" type of attitude. (Eventually 1 average chick did chat him) Heck, even bieber sucks with women 3 of my girls on 3 separate occasions mentioned his lame vibe/demeanor. (Although I do feel bad for everyone always hating/picking on him)

Most celebs are not "slaying" tons of chicks, it's the dudes behind the scenes who are. Celebs simply are giving opportunites just by being present due to their celeb status. Doesn't really translate to "instant sex".

This is a classic example of why it's wise for women to marry early on before hitting the wall. The earlier the better really. When a man marries a woman in her 20s, as times goes on he will always see her as a woman in her 20s.

Spot on--these very successful men see better than almost all other men how immediately most women throw a guy over for a higher status dick.

In The Game, Style talked about how when he started to become famous, he was disappointed how women would immediately start to ignore their boyfriends in favor of him.

Anyway, I think he kills it as Wolverine, whose character is more about alienation and endurance than seducing women. I realize the fans of the original comics may feel he is not consistent with the original comic book character, but to blow up in mass media the way the character has, it has to be made more palatable.
