I don't really think this is breaking news at all.

I've had women approach me, buy me drinks, etc. since I first started going out, and Nomad lives in Miami, so I know we're hitting up the same types of scenes.

Men aren't the only ones who thrive off liquid courage.

When they start approaching at Whole Foods after they've ran a mile with Lassie, and don't look the way you see them the one day out of the week they decide to look good, then we're witnessing something.

Until then, this manosphere-created narrative of the "ever-changing, out of control American woman" has gotten a little bit out of hand, where now we're taking things that aren't exactly new and applying them to things some of us have already known.

I've been with tall blond guys that fit the stereotype of what women can crow about to their friends, and see women just stop in the street and stare at HIM while I walk alongside the guy anonymously boo hoo. They might as well talk to him first.

In some ways this may be good, the women will realize they can't get these guys for the most part, there's three reasons:
(1) The guy isn't a guy who wants to play a love game, most women don't want to be pumped and dumped even by a "hot" guy, they want the excitement of being "wanted".
(2) He won't even, at that moment, go for a pump and dump
(3) Women aren't as willing to tolerate a guy who's a dim-witted snooze, even if he's "hot."

In Australia, Melbourne, you will see many of these tall good looking men with fat ugly women or 5s and 6s, like relationships, not even pump and dumps. Rarely will you see the other way round. Even worst here is that the really good looking guys bang many fat chicks, raising their egos and self entitlement very high.

My friend's sister, a 5/10 at most, she dresses up pretty average, goes up to groups of goodlooking tall guys and does her submissive act and the guys, almost on cue, line up for her flirting with her until she chooses who she wants to go bang. Ofcourse she is young and on the cock carousel.

The annoying part is how she brags to use guys that it is really easy when she is a girl and we put in way more work than her.

True.

There have certainly been changes with American women.

For instance, today girls watching or accepting p0rn is more common than in days gone by.

But many of these things people are experiencing for the first time have been around for a long time.

Well, everyone experiences differ. What you may experience and take for granted someone else may never have experienced at all. Even so, as this trend escalates, it will change the dynamics between men and women and kind of pickup strategy you want to use - as Krauser said.

I've been getting picked up by girls for over ten years man. Way more when I was younger though.

Way more when I was a virgin believe it or not. When I first went through puberty I was actually scared to have sex with girls even though I had few different offers on the table. Crazy to think about really. I wish I knew then what I know now.

Assuming that this trend is in fact real, it seems to me that it lowers the need for top-shelf guys to have any game at all, but it has the opposite effect on everyone else. Even normal guys and slightly better-than-average guys would need to learn game to compete at all. Good news for top-rated men and a call to action to everyone else.

I get approached almost every night. Sometimes explicitly.

Very few hotties, although it does happen. Of course, a handful of hotties is better than nothing but the reality is most girls that approach are not top 20%.

I have to approach to get quality.

Even then I get rejected hundreds of times a month for every one or two successes.

There's a big difference in being approached because of value or because of novelty. That's something I don't believe the pua movement ever understood. It helps to give women a reason to approach, but give them the wrong reason and their coming to you won't be pleasant.

A few years ago (before I read this forum) I was at a gym once holding a bar covered in black plastic; a 6.5 walked up to me and said "that's like holding a big cock isn't it?" I said "oh OK...", and she started talking about crystals and shit like that - I thought she was a bit crazy so I never tried to take things further. I never tried sexualising the conversation.
