Of all the West coast cities, outside of California, Vancouver probably does have the highest concentration of good looking women. I still don't think the talent is anything amazing, but it is decent. Honestly when you look at how high maintenance and snobby/unfriendly Vancouver girls can be, I think you're better looking in other places.

The median income in Vancouver is below the national average for Canada. 74.5K for Vancouver vs 71.1K nationally.

Vancouver is the second most unaffordable city in the world. http://globalnews.ca/news/1098143/vancou...the-world/

Even San Francisco is more affordable than Vancouver, which is shocking.

Yeah its even more shocking when considering the wages in SF are significantly higher than Vancouver.

Another thing to consider is that "Vancouver" is made up of a bunch of cities with no visible borders. I would like to see data from just Vancouver. I bet the income would be much higher.

I know for a fact that real estate data is cherry picked. Its all talk about Vancouver city prices and metro Vancouver income. Typical media bullshit.

The only place on the west coast that has a concentration of hot women would be pockets of LA at the right times. Vancouver is dense, most people walk, take metro, ride bikes, etc. LA has lots of babes but they are all in their cars until they get to a destination.

I misstated the household income.

Vancouver income is 71.1K Canadian dollars.

National income is 74.5K Canadian dollars.

Which is amazing, as expensive cities usually have higher wages.

RE: Seattle Datasheet
San Diego and the whole southern California area has tons of really hot women of all races. SF is good if you like Asian women. LA has lots of hot girls, but like you said they're in their cars a lot. They're also way too expensive, but the quality is amazing.

When we talk about Vancouver, I think Vancouver city is where the hot girls are at. I think hot girls from throughout Western Canada move there. In the suburbs (Surrey, etc.), it's nothing too amazing. The problem with Vancouver city is that the girls there are way too high priced and cold.

When we talk about Vancouver, it's worth noting that the hot girls are in West Van, North Van, and downtown. South/East Van, less so.

In the longterm, Vancouver is going to become a mostly Chinese city.

I loved Vancouver, but sadly was staying w/family friends out in Port Coquilam. Thats being said I just saw amazing high-end talent out. Yaletown restaurant row was unreal.

Seattle- never been, but heard its kind of mediocre.

Heading to Seattle Aug 28th, then to The Gorge for a weekend concert.

Based on this thread, it seems Fremont or University District are the best, depending.

Bars/clubs: Ballroom, Bathtub Gin, Club Q, Quinns, Club Contour.

Anyone have thoughts for going out on a Thursday there?

Thanks,
M'bare

Here's where I recommend:

1. U-District bars
2. Pioneer Square
3. Bellevue and Kirkland

Here are some links.

Are you looking for a particular scene/area? A lot of this depends on what part of Seattle you'll be in. Where are you staying? it's hard to answer in general terms, but if I were going out tomorrow in a general sense I'd hit up Radiator Whiskey (near Pike Place Market). Get there at 4:30 and pace yourself. It's near a touristy area without actually being that touristy. Avoid Pioneer Square like the plague. A word about Seattle bars in that part of town and many others: they fill up fast at opening, and finding a place at the bar can be problematic.. Happy Hour can be a good time to meet women. I'm not into clubs or the kind of women who frequent them so I can't give you any advice on that front. The part of town you will be staying in makes all the difference. Seattle has a ton of neighborhoods with lots of mostly-locals places. But you're going to have to ignore the tattoos. I can't remember the last time i saw a woman of any age in Seattle that wasn't disfigured by tattoos.

There is a personal favorite, under the radar area that I'm not going to publish on the Internet. But if you're into travel you'll probably end up there anyway. Have fun!

That statistic is a little misleading, since there are thousands of Canadian retirees that live in Vancouver. They technically make little to no income but may have 5 million in the bank account.

Im curious how would one compare the women in portland, seattle and vancouver.

Ive been to seattle, albeit briefly and noticed Vancouver women werent as tatted up, and alternative looking. Vancouver appeared to have way more asians as well.

Anyone been to all 3 cities to accurately compare?

The consensus is probably Vancouver>Seattle>Portland.

I still wouldn't necessarily recommend Vancouver.

I've been to all three cities and I concur with this. Believe it or not being American has some value in Vancouver. Most of the American guys I knew did pretty well there; but the Canadian guys think its the worst place in the world. The Seattle locals are nothing to brag about but the area has a large amount of transplants who are more game receptive so I would put them at second as well.

RE: Seattle Datasheet
For the Cascadia region its no contest. In my mind it goes like this:

Vancouver
.
.
.
Victoria
Kelowna (in summer)
.
.
.
.
.
Seattle
Portland

However, I would actually rate Portland higher than Seattle based only on who I hang with when in Portland. My friends circle in Seattle is small and weird, where in my Portland circle I have friends who are very much outside the norm (non tattoo, no piercings, work out, feminine).

Of course this is all relative. But after two weeks in NorCal, mostly San Fran, all I can say is that I saw more beautiful women on the metro ride back from the airport in Vancouver than 10 days in San Fran.

The foodie/hipster/independent/beer connoisseur/techie/neckbeard/beta culture has nearly killed the west coast of USA for me.

RE: Seattle Datasheet
Victoria above Seattle and Portland? You cannot be serious.

This whole comparing cities of relatively similar size and geographical location and concluding that you see more hot girls on the SkyTrain in 45 minutes than 10 days in San Francisco is quite honestly, preposterous.

Let's be serious for a minute here, there are plenty of hot girls all along the west coast of Canada and the USA. You may be biased or like certain cities more than others, but it doesn't change that simple fact.

I love Seattle. I frequently used to fly out of Seattle to go to various countries throughout the Americas. I have never had a poor time there. The last time I went there I pulled a girl each on Friday + Saturday that I went out, and even had a black girl that was down to fuck in the washroom of a dive bar but I declined due to not packing a condom. I went to the 4th of July fireworks at Gasworks Park and there were more hot girls there than you would ever know what to do with.

For me, what makes Seattle more impressive than a city like Vancouver is that it has a soul. I like to be able to go to a grunge bar, pay 3 bucks for pre-drinking beers, listen to some cool local music then prowl around the area. You can't really get that experience in Vancouver. Everything is so chic and plastic that you have to pay double that and are surrounded by airhead of girls in their dive bar equivalents (something like The Met). I hate the fact that I have to approach twice as many girls in Vancouver than Seattle just to have a decent conversation with them. I have probably gotten more cold shoulders in Vancouver than any other city I have been to. Aesthetics mean way too much in Vancouver, they are less important in places like Portland and Seattle.

That being said, I do like Vancouver in the summers. Hell, I grew up there. The city has a lot to offer. But I sure as hell would never live here as a young professional.

You can't be serious.

There are huge disparities among cities on the west coast.

I have been to Seattle, Portland, and San Francisco.

All are crushed with numbers of hot women compared to all down the coast of SoCal. It's not even close to being debatable.

I saw disparities among in the 3 cities I mentioned.

Portland - in sheer numbers the least amount of attractive for the population mainly due to the excessive piercings and tatts. The rest of the girls without them are often still pretty hipster. If you don't like cutish or more rarely trashy-hot hipster white girls with tatts this place is not very good.

Seattle - more raw numbers of hot girls due to Seattle being more cosmopolitan, more Asians. I went to a summer Mariner's game that had a ton of people, also went out at night in the popular area I forget the name. I noticed a little bit more of a sausage fest probably due to the tech scene.

San Francisco - more raw number of hot girls, much more diversity, larger cosmopolitan city, still not great. Sausagefest factor high.

The disparities are not gigantic, but still significant between each city in access to hot girls.

Bottom line there are significant differences among cities' access and availability to hot girls.

SENS Foundation - help stop age-related diseases

^ I was more talking about comparing Seattle and Vancouver, sorry if that wasn't clear. Seattle and Vancouver have pretty similar demographics, similar populations, are very proximate to each other, ect. To say that either one of these cities is exponentially better for girls is really just dishonest.

And you didn't really even negate the argument that I made. SoCal can't be compared to places like San Francisco, Portland, Seattle, and Vancouver because there is a significantly different population base, demographic, and city make-up. Regardless, you can go to any one of the major cities we are mentioning and there are plenty of hot girls to choose from. I also wouldn't say there is any much of a difference worth mentioning between Vancouver, Seattle, and Portland.

I feel like these debates are pointless. It's hearsay disguised as information. If you want to compare two cities like Vancouver and Montreal, fine there is enough differences to highlight the disparities of the types of girls you will most likely run into, but Seattle and Vancouver? It's like practically the same shit.

Generally I agree with the consensus here that Seattle has some pretty mediocre girls: one exception I found was Tig Asian Tapas Bar in Pioneer Square. Somehow wandered into it and my head was on a swivel looking at so many cute Korean FOBs in the location. Date got a little huffy but just managed to play it off like I was looking for a server.

One more positive I would like to add to the Pacific Northwest Area is that the girls there tend to be very open minded, but harder to game. Throw racial preferences out of the window; I've seen more biracial people in my 2 1/2 years in Seattle than I did living 26 years on the East Coast.

Whenever I visited Vancouver, I was surprised at how different the white population of Canada was from the white population of Seattle. Both Vancouver and Seattle have sizable Asian and Indian immigrant populations, perhaps that's what you were talking about with respect to demographics.

Vancouver is on the south side of Canada. Seattle is on the north side of the US. For Canada, Vancouver has arguably good weather. For the US, Seattle weather kind of sucks. Vancouver is something like the Los Angeles of Canada. The LA-type girls of Seattle, left for sunny LA long ago.

I can agree that women in Vancouver can be cold, snobby and have poor social skills. But if you are looking to pull women from dive bars then you and I are on different playing fields.

I just dont find tattooed, pierced overweight women attractive. I have friends that do, they are riding this fad and banging lots of these women all over Cascadia. Its their fishbowl. Good on them, good for you, but its not for me.

One thing I will say is that I have much more 'fun' and 'interesting' and 'witty' conversations with women in the US. In Vancouver I have to talk to 5 women to get one with good social skills. Pair that with Vancouver women are either in a relationship, sexual camels, or banging a bartenders groupie and Vancouver can be a frustrating place.

I wouldn't say I target that crowd, but I like to have that option you know? Vancouver doesn't really have that kind of option and I find the quality in these types of places skews towards normal girls in Seattle. There's plenty of good looking women in those random bars in Capitol Hill for whichever strokes you may be looking for. I often like to get the ball rolling in these types of places then move on to clubs.

I can pull high talent in clubs in Latin America, but as a Canadian in Vancouver it's hard to regularly pull from top end places for anyone. I actually don't really know anyone who does regularly pull from these places in Vancouver.

Ahh, Seattle. Most overrated city in America in my opinion. It's a gloomy, white-ish bread, cheaper version of San Francisco. Not surprised to hear that the women around there are fairly mediocre.

Yeah that's how I feel about Capitol Hill. Was staying there when I visited family this past Spring. As for daygame in Capitol Hill...fuh-get about it as one can only spot granola alternative gals.

At night, the yuppy chicks originally from Seattle or suburbs come out in packs...think..the Alyssa Milano/Reese Witherspoon types from the movie Fear opposed to the tatted up hipster ones. Pretty good combination once you factor in most of the local dudes are socially awkward & don't approach.

Just about every Canadian chick I've met outside of Montreal has been all about the instant cheap thrills as you mentioned...something I was incapable of providing for them upon those encounters...haha
