Well there are quite a few cute girls that I see walking their dogs and just in the hallways or the elevators at my building. These are usually short interactions but I may not see the same girl for months at a time. I was wondering if I should just go for the number in our quick interactions and risk getting turned down and then having to see her again eventually in the hallways or elevator or just try to avoid shitting where I eat and only bring girls from the outside?

It has seemed like in the past girls have given me the vibe that they were interested in me but I'm somewhat hesitant becuase I know I will have to see them on again.

This is a great way of meeting and closing with a minimum of fuss about logistics. So what if things go south? Play it off cool and move on. Who cares?
Gauge the initial interaction for indicators of interest. As long as you always play the gentleman and have no shame, all is well. It's all how you handle it.
One suggestion: Be friendly, engaging, and steer the conversation to dishes you like to cook, food, etc. You can create an opening to either set up a "pot luck" dinner at your apartment, or "swing by" her place to bring her a taste of something you made.

If they have a dog, you can approach the dog first "oh wow, what a great dog, is he friendly? can I pet him? What's it's name?"

then you can throw in "oh by the way my name is murrb, I am in unit 103c."

If you want, you can have a barbecue in your condo and invite EVERYONE(make sure you knock on all the doors on a sunday when people are more likely to be home, or a weeknight after 8pm.)

even better if you want to throw a super bowl party in february or something along those lines.

Lost my virginity to some random white trash chick at my apartment complex this year.

She was drunk, and walked up and talked to me. She asked me to help her walk her dogs.

Went into her place, I'll never forget it. Her family were like legit hoarders. There was shit everywhere. We go into the kitchen, and she pours some Southern Comfort into a glass. I am sitting there, I look off into the distance, and I see a fucking cockroach climb up the wall. It disappeared between the wall and the back of the cabinets.

We go back to my place. Gonna leave out the next couple hours. From 2:00 to 2:30 AM she rides my dick.

Then we get up, I walk her part of the way back to her apartment. We separate, she continues walking back muttering some crazy shit to herself.

I never saw her again...
