I was thinking Times Square due to volume of new targets but seems a bit too busy for that. Any other good locations?

Shops, clothing stores, the Village.

But mostly it's as you're going about your activities - getting lunch, browsing mags at the barnes and noble, buying some pots & pans, dropping off a letter at the mailbox, etc.

I think this is your fundamental challenge with day gaming in NYC -- are you a tourist or are you a local? You'll have to figure out what works best for you, but that ties in to where you are. The nice thing about Manhattan is you can walk from Central Park down to the Battery, and have people around pretty much the entire way. Pick a starting point and go from there.

Union Square is PUA central...it's where all the companies hold bootcamps for daygame. It's probably the best spot for volume, but not necessarily for results, because you blend into all the guys trying to sell stuff.

You should hit up East Village and Meat Packing District during working hours. You'll see some knock-outs walking around these neighborhoods during the hours of 9-5 on Monday-Fridaiy

Grand Central station.

I love seated sets. Tons of seating = captive audiences. Warmer than the parks when it gets cold.

Tons of lone wolf targets at all times. Too hectic during rush hour, but very good at all other times.

South St. Seaport and Battery Park would fall under this. Too many families and too few prospects. Hell, that could apply to much of the financial district, really. Better area at night IMO.

If you're looking to game tourists there are just tons of places, but I'd go with the following to start:

-downtown along W. Broadway and SOHO (where there will be tons of foreigners shopping in all the trendy designer stores, probably a bit more of a younger crowd and more accessible than you'll find on 5th Avenue).
-the elevated subway line park (Highline) over on the West Side near the Meatpacking district (near the Standard Hotel)
-Century 21 will have tons of European and South American tourists looking for bargains, shoe store next to the big store especially might be good for daygame
-Wall Street and the Brooklyn Bridge (with all the people walking across it) should be ok as there will be a steady stream of people walking around looking at all the touristy sites and having fun

Agree with you on the South Street Seaport, but the areas around the Brooklyn Bridge, Wall Street & the World Trade Center monument (which is across from the Century 21 deparment store) are chock full of young ladies many times on their own or with friends visiting NYC to see the sights and shop. And the park by Battery City along the water is probalby an ok spot too. This is for daygame.

Downtown (by that I mean Wall Street and environs, including Battery City) is much more dead at night really, you'd need to be above Canal at least and in the LES/Tribeca/Soho areas before you start running into lots of bars/clubs.

The (ticketed passengers only) waiting rooms at Penn Station.

The beach itself at Coney Island.

When standing in line anywhere, especially for tickets to concerts or other fun stuff.
