Why not both? The quality in Belgrade is top notch. I've been told Novi Sad is only worth it during the school season also and since that's now in session that could also be good.

After Serbia I want to go to Bosnia, then Croatia, then back to Spain. So I must keep moving west. I want to move before winter comes and the shitty snow and thick coats hiding the fatties.

I think I will go to Novi Sad, found a great flat for 19€ a night including parking for my car.

Alright well best of luck then. I don't know much about Novi Sad since I skipped through from Belgrade to Budapest. I had a suprisingly large amount of Serbian men tell me the most beautiful Serbian women are on Novi Sad! Throw up a datasheet afterwords, I don't think there is much info on that city here.

Will try, still cooking up the L'viv datasheet. Let's see if that info you got about Novi Sad is true, certainly hope so! Big Grin

RE: Novi Sad or Belgrade?
I'd recommend Novi Sad because it's smaller, nice (in my opinion) and the atmosphere is bound to be more relaxed. You should have more value as a foreigner there too, even though it still has plenty of clubs (some infamous I think - there was a fire in one recently, and many people perished). It could also be cheaper.

The downside is that English levels are bound to be poorer, so if you don't speak Serbian (or similar Slavic language), you might find yourself unable to communicate.

Novi Sad is worth a visit, but it likely will not rock your socks like Belgrade will.

Yeah you might have problems speaking English to an old clerk at a store or a taxi driver, but going out, you shouldn't have any issues with girls not speaking English in Novi Sad or Belgrade.

Both places are good in their own way. Belgrade obviously has a larger nightlife. If you go out on weekends in Novi Sad, there should be plenty of nightlife.

You mention having a car. You can drive back-and-forth from the two cities pretty easily, they are not that far apart.

Thanks for the input, I think it's going to be good. I prefer day gaming, specially with university girls, so if the course is now ongoing there should be plenty of traffic. Weather is looking better as well.

About driving back and forth between Novi Sand and Belgrade, I got a flat in Novi Sad so would still want to sleep there all the time to not ramp up costs.

Let's see how it goes.

Note that Belgrade is a much bigger city than Novi Sad. Also that there is a significant hungarian population in the city.
The very first girl I met in Belgrade was a hungarian girl from Novi Sad though. She was suprisingly sweet.
