I spoke with a very intelligent Russian girl the other day, from the Ural region. She brought up feminism and how it was indeed making it's way into Russia. I didn't say much...but she elaborated on how it is not anywhere near the degree it is in the Western world, but that it was coming. And she's from a 2nd-3rd tier city, not Moscow or Piter.
